Temple is better academically than PSU on almost every level. Temple also has better programs in pretty much every field.

If you don't believe me, look it up.

Penn State is ranked 47th in the entire country by US News & World Report.

Temple isn't even ranked.

You = teh stupid.

Ok

US News ranked the top 400 college/university/schools worldwide:
Penn State #120

Temple = Didn't make the list

I was more lol'ing because you lumped Temple in with a top 10 world school in Penn and Nova (which I also couldn't find on the list). But Penn State is widely regarded as an academically and athletically superior school.

Rome

47th in the country.  Fo-tee-se-vunth!

But Temple will groom you for an exciting career in south Texas sportswriting!

It's a second rate university for people not smart enough to make it into Penn, Temple, and Nova and they never have any legit competition in that conference.

haha. i think someone's guidance counselor was trying to make them fell better about going to school.

psu is one of the top 20 in the country in both engineering and communications.  at least they were a few years ago.

I thought it was funny he acted like Temple was some hard school to get into. It's basically the 4 year equivalent of Philadelphia Community College.

ice grillin you

temples a solid school over all on par with penn state...theres no discernable difference...really most four year colleges save the very best of the best are essentially equivalent...its all about what you are going for...temple is better than penn state for example in law and broadcasting...penn state better in engineering and horticulture

where penn state has an advantage over temple is in its size...better connections because of his monsterous alumni base...but if you go to each school and get a general studies degree the person who went to penn state is not coming out any smarter than the person who went to temple

like i said unless youre talking ivy league duke mit ect...its really silly to argue over what school is "better"

I just like to bash Penn State. Temple has gotten better though. It has a good programs that are superior to Penn State like business, pharmaceutical, and others.

Penn State is a shoe-in to get into though. All you need to do is attend one of their lowly satellite campuses like Abington and you get right into Penn State.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

MDS

the only reason temple is better than psu is location

otherwise its basically the same school that is a better fit for each person depending on their major

or you could be some 50 year old MA who hasnt been in the philly area in 30 years and hangs on to out-dated cliches and assumptions that his parents told him
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I'm guessing that's a backhanded comment for me, but just remember, my degree will say "Penn State" regardless of what campus I attend.

Pretty much, there are a lot of students at the Abington campus who've went to Temple and have stated the same thing. Unless it's ivy league you're basically learning the same crap.

I mean, I was inducted into the Penn State honor society June 12th, so what's that tell you?

The BIGSTUD

I had no idea what school you attended.

actually 2 years at psu, 2 years at temple is a great fit if you can pull it off

you get the best of both worlds (real college atmosphere then 20s city living), spend your first 2 years binge drinking and acting a fool in the middle of nowhere, then get down to business in the big city. plus you get to lay claim to psu football and temple hoops. boom.
