nbc is loving this. its increased buzz and attention for them they desperately need. and hosts destroy networks all the time like this. its when you call out names that it gets people upset. networks always give shows free range to say "nbc sucks" but when you say "jeff zucker, president of nbc, sucks" thats when they get uppity. it hasnt gotten to that point yet for conan. though, its expected once nbc pays him out (which could happen any day), he'll bail.

his fox show would probably tape from la. his staff would get $ to hold them over until they all move to fox. no worries there.

and rusty this stuff is great, especially for a tv nerd like me. go chain smoke and eat bacon you filthy mexican.

yeah, and it's also understood that typical "trash talk" about the host network is in good fun and usually revolves around the network being cheap or something like that.  everyone knows that when conan says something negative about nbc now, he actually means it.  maybe the network doesn't care since they know he won't be around anyway and are just glad that they are being talked about.

The other talk show hosts are talking about them. The news is talking about them. Surely Conan's ratings have gone up since this started. More money for NBC, and probably a nice boost to Leno's ratings when he returns.

i get the feeling jesus was in on the scam, i just hope he is profiting off christianity like so many others are. wouldnt it kind of suck if he was just a normal dude who was used forced into being "the son of god" because other people named joseph and joshua and mary had the brilliant idea to start a new cult that was basically the same as the other cults but figured stupid gullible people would join their cult and give them money. see, they had it right. they emphasized money more so than life devotion. that was key. poor jesus. hope he made out well.

anyway, @ demon yes ferguson is terrific. basically an anti-late night show. i wish hed go to cable and not have to try and book the best guests possible. basically just give him 30-60 mins to ramble on and do goofy skits.
