You just described every action movie trailer in the history of cinema. What were you expecting deep dialogue that gives away critical plot points? I just hope it's better than TFA. I still don't understand how Disney could make a great SW movie in Rogue One but completely bomb Episode 7 which should have been a layup.

cause there aint shtein left to say...rogue one was an interesting story to tell that most importantly shows up in the first star wars so it didnt need to be made up and forced...you obviously still had to come up with specifically how it happened but they were already ahead of the game in that the story would automatically be something people wanted to hear because it so naturally came out of the pre exisiting narrative of the series

Star Wars marathon on TBS today. Phantom Menace started at 645, at 730 I had to turn it off. It's too awful for words. I switched to the Pawn Stars marathon.

As awful as the prequels are, Yoda's first fight scene with Dooku still gives me a full on rager.  It's about the only thing that was done right in all 3.

ep 1 was horrible. ep 2 was a bit better - and yeah that fight scene was a big reason why. ep 3 I liked. not as much as the originals, but enough to separate itself from the garbage of the prior two.
