You really don't understand anything about his character if you are asking that question.

He killed them because they weren't going to be helpful in accomplishing his task. He killed them because he thought they were fools. But mostly he killed them because they had seen his face and could have identified him. Woody Harrelson makes mention of it later. "You've seen him? And you're still alive."

he had an agreement with them didnt he?...killing them is anti everything his character is about....of all the people that have ever lived his word is bond to him.....breaking the contract he agreed to with his employer is antithetical to everything they portray him later in the movie to be...and even up to that point

there has to be another explanation im not seeing here

and the seeing the face part makes no sense to me...they didn't accidentally see him...he willingly went out to the scene of the crime with them...also that woody line wasnt meant to cover anyone whose seen him...just someone he wants to kill

that makes a lot more sense than sunny thinking it was for the money....but its still silly and doesnt really fit...they clearly tried to do it to make him seem like a bad ass which was totally unnecessary since every other scene he was in did that in a masterful way

When it first came out I was like this dude totes around a farging air tank and kills people...whoa. The scene where he made the old dude flip a coin was tense

Made some bomb ass Nutella weed cookies and then watched Kong. I didn't know it was even a thing before today but it was fun as farg. Totally brainless big budget blockbuster but by far the best King Kong or Godzilla movie I've ever seen.
