ice grillin you

the timing isnt perfect as i would have preferred it to have happened right after the sf game but i love the move in that it tells the rest of the roster to stop being idiots and that there are consequences for it
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

SD

Bad trade. Brown may have goofed but he's still a better back than Harrison.

Seabiscuit36

Agree with SD.  Dumb play in the SF game, but this move is purely a threat.

shtein-if thats the case they may be playing 5 on 11 after the dallas game against the bears

SunMo

absolutely pathetic that reid lets rb take the blame for that catastrophe.  yeah, it was dumb to try and throw it, but what an awful play call

The 2013 pick is a seventh-rounder. Those are tough for #Eagles to part with, since they traditionally start right away.

oooooo BURN

There's absolutely nothing to be gained from this...

True as that may be, the fact is that Brown hasn't sniffed the field since SF and Reid even gave Deion Lewis red zone carries against DC.  Right or wrong, I think Reid decided Brown wasn't going back on the field any time soon.  So if you aren't going to use him, trade him.  You know Harrison will get a little work.

Did they free up a tiny bit of cap room? That's probably all they wanted.

It's so they can sign TO.

It sure as hell isn't so they can resign Jackson.

Brown must be doing cartwheels right about now.

Brown must be doing cartwheels right about now.

There is no more powerful statement about the state of the Eagles that this.  A player is going from Philly to Detroit and is EXCITED about it.

Can't really see how Brown would be excited about being a 3rd string rb behind Best and Morris but whatever.
