Eagles need a backup to Shady. How bout a guy like Ronnie Brown? I know they like smaller quick backs but he's pretty fast for being 230. Doesn't seem like he's getting a ton of interest around the league.

Quality pro talent at a backup position. Nice.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I like it so long as I'm not seeing Ronnie Brown taking direct snaps this year.

i think since westbrook took over the show himself, weve talked about, every offseason, the eagles getting a slightly washed up but still kind of usable running back to spell the starter. and every year they get dorsey levens or darnell autry or lorenzo booker or some shteinhole useless player.

but now they didnt. they got the guy on the market who can probably still give you 10 solid carries per game and maybe even carry the load for 1-2 games if shady goes down.

what. the. farg. done. changed.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Very nice pickup. Good change of pace for Shady, very good in short yards, pass blocking is a strength of his too so he'll actually be able to set foot on the field... and as much as we'd like to think otherwise, we know Andy ain't done with the wildcat. Might as well get the OG.

Brown can still carry the rock 20 times per game now that he's completely healthy.  This is a showcase year for him.  If he does well and stays healthy, he's on to bigger and better.  If something happens to Shady. . . well, I'll just leave it at that.

LOL @ you if you thought Levens was a useless player.  I thought he was a very nice addition to the backfield.

That said, I farging love this signing.  In fact, if you exclude the previous FA pick ups this year, I love the Brown signing more than any other FA the Eagles have picked up probably since Kearse.

Word. Levens was the goods as a backup.

No, I intentionally skipped over the Samuel signing because I didn't love it.  Liked it, didn't love it.
