Your hate for Kolb really is pathetic, he played a quarter and a half before getting hurt and now he sucks.  Give him at least half a season.

they ran 10 rush plays and 10 pass by half. generating nothing. Vick comes in does his job. Is running for his life and manages to get them close before Reid blows it. Vick had some bad throws, I was waiting for the INT every pass. Some of the receivers made some tough catches to their credit. Does this game prove Kolb or Vick is ready, no. Story over. Stop the stupidity and just relax, its going to be a long year if you like it or not. The main problem is the coaches and there is nothing the players or us can do about it. We're farged til he's gone.

Havas - I was against the move to sign Vick. I did watch him in ATL and always thought he was one of the most overrated players in the NFL. He is not suited for the 3-5 step drop WCO. But it looks like he may have improved himself.

Allow me to re-state my position on Kolb;

I do not hate him. I hope he succeeds. I do not believe that he will be what they need in order to win. I am not sold on him and I believe that the hype surrounding him is unfounded and premature.

I am willing to give him more time because, quite frankly, what other option do I have?

Again, I hope I am wrong. But I believe they erred in trading McNabb and that Kolb will not be the answer.

And the adulation shown towards him is over the top.

Where is the hype? Yet to encounter it? People have been calling for him for awhile. And especially the McNabb haters, which are quite plentiful, who loved to point out that the Eagles had a real QB.

He's been hyped a lot.

i always thought phreak's schtick concerning kolb was sarcasm fueled by the collective mocking mcnabb rightly received after a decade of choking, puking and generally coming up short.

now i'm not so sure.

his actively campaigning for michael vick to start the rest of the season might be one of the most entertaining things i've ever seen here especially considering how much he hated the vick signing from day one.

No schtick, man...I truly believe that they made the wrong decision and will continue to do so until Kolb makes me look like a fool.

Kolb's offense hasn't scored a TD this year, and that includes the PS. That is worrisome. And the way they started yesterday was the absolute wrong answer.

Reid is culpable for some of that, but I honestly think they have made the wrong call with him.

its legit to say kolb could be the wrong call but by no means does that make mcnabb the right one
