Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

PhillyPhreak54

Excuse me, but where's the "he's ready to take over" talk now?

With all of that hype you do not come out and lay an egg like that. No sir.

MDS

yea he was terrible

but this year is more about his progression than anything else, so lets not get crazy there j

C'mon. You know better. You know what the situation is, and why you need to stop getting your hopes up. The 30 something dog butcher isn't the answer, and putting Kolb on the bench for another year isn't either. He needs to get out there and get his ass beat this season so that next season he might be ready to go.

Stop acting like this season means a damned thing. Stop getting worked up about who's playing QB or how they're doing. Just stop.

The man. The myth. The legend.

PhillyPhreak54

No way, man.

Not when they traded a proven commodity to a division rival. Not when they crammed Kevin Kolb down our throats. This isn't rebuilding by necessity, it is rebuilding by choice. And they better have guessed right.

Kevin Kolb better be the real deal or else its time to send Big Red on down the road.

General_Failure

Basically, your stance is to bitch about Kolb because Reid is an idiot.

If Reid were less of an idiot, Kolb would be in his second season as a full-time starter. McNabb would probably be looking at where he's going to go next season.

The man. The myth. The legend.

SunMo

so because the media hypes the guy, there is no allowed transition period?  that makes sense.

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

rjs246

I hear McNabb had a stellar game last night.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

ice grillin you

ill do it before any of the corny qb lovers do

QuoteThe teflon coach is now on the clock.

With Donovan McNabb banished to our nation's capital, Philadelphia football fans have no choice but to examine the work of the man wearing the headsets.

Andy Reid is 0-1 today largely because he still can't manage the clock, committed to Kevin Kolb as his starting quarterback with little supporting evidence and allowed an atrocious fourth-and-1 play-call late in Philly's 27-20 loss to Green Bay.

Making matters worse is Reid watched Michael Vick's electrifying second-half performance and concluded Kevin Kolb is still the Eagles' starting quarterback (if he's healthy).

Andy Reid is either clueless or blind.

QuoteKolb, The Anointed One, picked up right where he left off in the preseason, connecting on half of his 10 passes for 24 yards and running for a yard. DeSean Jackson, Philly's big-play receiver, didn't catch a pass in the first half. Philadelphia's offense went nowhere with Kolb.

Whitlock stole my name for Kolb.

Rome

whitlock is famous for his impartiality when it comes to race.

Someone please send Whitlock the link to the other CF.

He is spot on here.

You play the QB who gives you the best chance to win. They traded away the number one option - so the next best is obviously Vick.

Never thought I'd say that.

not always...sometimes the big picture is more important

they have to find out what cobb is....playing a guy who isnt even going to be on the team next year serves no purpose

4-12 with cobb this year is better than 8-8 with vick

And what if Vick is the guy who should be the QB for the next several years and not The Golden One?
