The reason they drafted Garner was because of Kotite, he coached the Senior Bowl squad that Garner was on. 

One of my best friends growing up is now Leron McCoy's best friend, every time we would see him (at the bar) we would try to tell him to convince Shady to go to PSU. I know I have mentioned it before, but Shady what maybe the best performance in district III playoff history.  4 games 1300+ and 13tds.  I will say it again love this pick, this is a guy I got to watch his whole career so I for him to be an Eagle is an unbelievable thing to me.

my college roomate grew up just outside of harrisburg and is an all philly fan except hes a monster steeler fan (hes also a douchebag)....that area is like 90% steeler fans 8% eagle fans and 2% taterskin (from when their training camp used to be in carlisle) so shady being an eagle fan was a brave stand a lone thing to do...then again his name is shady so i would expect nothing less
