QuoteMcCoy has been favorably compared to Pittsburgh's Hall of Fame tailback, Tony Dorsett, who recently stated, "This is the first player who has come along who truly reminds me of me."

If his career is even half as good as Dorsett, I'll be forced to retroactively cream my pants over this pick.
So far I just have a stiffy...
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

He broke a few of Dorsett's records and Pitt has repeatedly hyped McCoy up in Pittsburgh area as being the new Dorsett. Thing is, Pitt is always looking for the next Dorsett, as their program is several decades removed from their glory days.

QB Eagles

QuoteMcCoy, who hails from the same Harrisburg high school as Ricky Watters (Bishop McDevitt). In fact, in a conference call with reporters at NovaCare, McCoy said he talks to Watters "all the time." Asked if he knew what "for who, for what?" meant, McCoy said: "I don't know too much about that."

not worried.  Anyone not taken in the first round is pretty much locked into 4 years...

He joins the list of Eagles RBs taken in the second round:

Charlie Garner (#42, 1994)
Siran Stacy (#48, 1992)
Anthony Toney (#37, 1986)
Perry Harrington (#53, 1980)
Cyril Pinder (#39, 1968)

Some memories there.

Man, I loved Chuck.

I had the Kelly green #25 and midnight green #30. Too bad let let him go.

Ill never forget the 40-8 Niners game in 94'. He was such a beast in that game...

Yessir. He couldn't stay healthy when he was here. Went to SF and OAK and tore it up.

I remember after the Divisional round loss to Dallas after thumping DET in '95...I was in Dallas and was getting autographs as the players were gettin on the buses. Here comes Garner in a full pink pimp suit. Pink pants, pink jacket and pink overcoat with a black and pink hat. Funny shtein.
