childress has done absolutely nothing to warrant anyone hiring him as a head coach...you may give him a shot as an oc...but a head coach?...no way not at this point...let him at least prove himself in running his own offense first

I agree 100%.

If a QB coach can get hired as a head coach in this league there must be a team out there dumb enough to go for Childress.

Who happens to have one of the top records of any coach around today. And that bumb of a personnel director insisted on picking a QB in the first round of his first draft over Ricky Williams. Oh yeah, he also fought successfully against his boss (Modrak) to make that QB McNabb not (shtein, I just drew a blank on the name of the QB the Bengals took).

He also had that stupid idea to make his first big FA pickup Jon Runyan, because that worked out poorly.

I think Mariucci has a good shot at another HC job next year.  I'd think it'd be more likely that Mike Sherman ends up on the Eagles coaching staff if Childress gets a HC job.

I tend to agree with you.  Wouldn't be surprised if Sherman ends up here.

if he leaves he leaves.  i'll forget about him the second he's gone.  if the off season doesn't go well, it wouldn't really matter if god himself is calling the plays.

We don't want Sherman....especially as OC.... He has no balls at all. he is a "nice" guy and a player's coach(w/no huevos).  If you want 3rd & long dump passes to Westbrook over the middle he's your guy. If you like how he punted on 4th & short against us in the playoffs instead of winning the game he is again your guy. I pray he ends up in in NY or Dallas.

Andy Reid calls the plays, don't you realize that by now?

Would Sherman come with an aging back-up QB?  I'd be in favor of that.

You're kidding, right?  There's no way Favre's going to play anywhere except Green Bay.
