The hypocrisy on this board is thick.  When McMahon comes in it's "he can scramble like McNabb and create.  He's gonna be a great fit."  When someone suggests the skins #25 overall pick from last year, who some people rated higher than Rogers, who had a stellar college career under multiple tutors, could lead the team in the future, it's met with smilies, etc.
When he starts and looks good leading the team, I'll be sure to dig up this post.

Why is Gibbs not one of the greats??  Has he not turned around a franchise that couldnt do anything right and taken them to the playoffs and won a playoff game in only two seasons.  I would bet Gibbs is not finished, in fact, he is just getting started.  I would venture to say find a coach with ten years+ experience that has achieved a winning % better than Joe Gibbs.   Shula and Lombardi may be the only coaches that surpass Gibbs winning %.  And both of those guys had dominant teams in eras when the competiton was not as strong as it was when gibbs forged his record.

Your qb comment is unfounded, Gibbs won 3 sb's with average qbs.

I mean, it used to be fun to read things like this because I genuinely thought they were just trolling.  Then you come to realize that they aren't trolling at all.  They're serious.  They buy into the whole "Gibbs is God" fairy tale.

Be a critic of Gibbs when youre team wins a trophy.  I never said Gibbs is god but he is a great football coach...his record speaks for itself.  14 years of coaching and only two losing seasons.

I might have just been thinking of stupid Cataldi, but...

A young mobile QB? Fine.

I think that would be a nice signing.  He's young, mobile and knows the system.

McMahon is way better than Koy. Better arm, more accurate, better scrambler, taller so he sees the field better.

If Feeley could make due with Pinkston, Thrash, and Duce, then McMahon should be able to do something with TO, Westbrook, and LJ.

Yea, because Koy and McMahon have both taken so many regular season snaps on this team for me to judge under equal personnel. 

McMahon does everything better than Koy, except keeping cool. The one thing about McMahon is he can get out of control and scramble around instead of hitting an open receiver. He has more of an ability to make plays than Koy, has a way stronger arm, and is more accurate on passes 5 yards or longer. Koy isn't even accurate unless he throws a 5 yard post(its only 5 yards because of Koy's arm) or a screen pass.

Those people were idiots from the get go. The get surgery crowd has drifted off though. The new crowd is the "Start McMahon" crowd. At this point I'm not in that boat yet, because it's unknown how much the injury is affecting McNabb and how much of it is teams blitzing. If they fix the protection and start to run the ball and McNabb is still this bad then I'll want McMahon in there. He's better than AJ Feeley and AJ Feeley came here and won games.
