They have Khal Drago playing Aquaman? Always pictured Aquaman more as a blonde weenie

Probably because he's always been a blonde weenie.  He's getting a much needed upgrade for this movie.  He looks pretty bad ass.   

For some reason though, they're dropping the JL movie later this year and then Aquaman gets his own movie in 2018.

That trailer seems like every other Snyder movie.  Dark/gloomy fighting monotonous personality free bad guys with the fate of the world on the line.   Maybe I'm just completely bored of superhero anything at this point.

welcome to ten years ago....not sure how anyone can watch any superhero movie after the batmans....that trilogy was a mic drop as far as superhero movies go

I agree with this as far as DC goes. They should have made their character movies in between the Bale/Batman (2005-2012) movies. Instead they waited till 2013 to release Man of Steel which was a steaming pile of shtein. While they were farging around Marvel/X-Men etc. flooded theaters with their movies. They were enjoyable but they've grown stale. Deadpool was a welcome change to their typical format.

Logan followed in that vein.  It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, even in the genre, but at least it wasn't cartoonish bullshtein meant to entertain everyone in the family.  It was meant for adults just as Deadpool was. 

Honestly, though... the superhero thing is becoming a bit tedious for me as well.  How many explosions, sardonic dialogue and CGI shtein can you digest, even if it is new and technologically impressive, before it becomes trite?
