I didn't have a problem when I upgraded.

I don't understand why all the bitching about Firefox.  If you don't like it, use another browser.

I didn't really care about my bookmarks as they were for websites I no longer give a shtein about.  I was just backing up PG because she seems to be the only person who ever has problems with Firefox.

I personally love it because it never crashes like Microsoft Internetfargingexplorer.

Actually, I don't even keep my bookmarks in a browser.  I keep my bookmarks in Yahoo bookmarks, use the Yahoo toolbar to access them from any computer I'm at.  Every couple of months, I back up those bookmarks and store them on both my computer and my web site.

No issues here when I upgraded.  I also don't keep that many bookmarks.  It's usually quicker to just type the address than to go look for it...

Why would you want it off?

Good point.

BTW: Good point also about IE.  I only use it for my MLS program and that's because the jagoffs who run the site * insist * on IE.  The site literally won't work with Firefox or any other browser.

Idiots.

There's an IE extension available that lets you view pages through Firefox as if it was IE.  It works for things like Hotmail, MSN, Windows Updates, etc.

Very useful plugin, that IE tab one.
