Anyone else having major problems with Firefox as of late? Pages loading up funny, slowness, .pdf files crashing it, etc?

not sure what to do. Do I uninstall and then re-install? Will I lose my favorites?

you dont have to lose them. dig around for your firefox preferences/settings folder. your bookmarks are usually in a an HTML files labeled "favorites.html" or "bookmarks.html" remove that from the preferences folder and then reinstall...

once you reinstall, just put the old bookmark file back in the folder where you got it from and you shouldnt lose a thing. unless you hide your porn bookmarks somewhere else  8)

Is it worth using.  I know the vulnerability benefits, but are there any particularly cool advancements in the browser?

tabs instead of new windows is one.   built in pop up blocker.  google search built into it without needing the google toolbar download.  probably some other things i dont use.
