Maybe I missed it in the TV thread...but do you watch Homeland? It mirrors that show pretty close and the main character in zero dark 30 is just like the main character on Homeland with her obsession. In fact I'm pretty sure the Carrie from Homeland was modeled off the CIA girl in the movie.

No...it has some similarities but it's a much better show than 24. You probably won't like it if Sunny is saying so.

first season, no. not action driven at all. second season gets a little more ridiculous and over the top 24 style.

i liked django. solid B+ or so.

the comment about this is 40 was funny because it's 140 minutes. Actually the first 90 minutes are pretty good, and the last 50 are awful, so, if it actually was 90 mins, I'd agree that I liked it.

Oldboy. I was prepared for a farged up movie, but not that kind of farged up. I can't see how the remake is going to keep that ending, even if Spike Lee is behind it.

right? i watched it a few months ago and it took me a minute or two before it hit me. no chance they end it like that in the US version. i think they'll end it more vaguely so you can make up your own mind.

saw The Sessions tonight. should have been really awkward and creepy but it was so well done it was none of that. well maybe a little but it was also pretty endearing.

helen hunt - her face looks a little old and plastic-y and she has bad lips but she's got a pretty good body and is naked for most of the movie. full frontal many times. like maybe the most total minutes of complete nakedness on screen that i've ever seen outside of porn.

surprisingly solid flick, i liked it.
