The theater was probably 3/4 full and there wasn't a peep to be heard during the whole movie. When it was over there was dead silence. People just got up and walked out. Strange reaction as I was expecting cheering or at least polite applause. Not sure if the audience dug it or not although I can't see how they didn't like it. It was really good.

zero dark thirty - agree with sd....fantastic movie...probably the best of the year but not quite hof...something was missing but i cant really put my finger on what it was...there were some questionable casting decisions...but wonderfully shot and filmed...how bigelow didnt get a best director nod is beyond me...i was least interested in the raid going in but that ended up being the best part of the movie...the very end when she starts crying because she doesnt know what shes gonna do now was brilliant

Dark Shadows - Thought Depp was great (he's too talented to flat out suck, really) but the movie itself just didn't do much for me. I chuckled throughout but nothing really made me lol. I've never seen the show, so I have no idea how it compares and maybe my expectations were too high going in, but I was expecting a lot more comedy than what was delivered.
