Machines enslaved humanity and use them as batteries while letting them live in a computer simulation.

never watched LOTR, never had an interest.

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Eagles_Legendz

The LOTR movies were great for the most part unless you have an aversion to fantasy shtein in general.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

PhillyPhreak54

Now that I am back in TX I am gonna go on a Matty type movie run the next couple weeks.

django - classic tarantino....the first 2:15 was as good as anything hes done cept pulp and resovoir...the last half hour was basically grindhouse way over the top and ridicuously convienant...i thought jamie foxx was comletely miscast....at least for the first couple hours...he didnt seem like a slave from the deep south like the other characters...he was jamie foxx...for example theres a scene towards the beginning where he meets a slave who gives him information on some guys they are looking for and this no name never been in a movie before actress is better and far more credible in her five minute scene than foxx is at any point in the movie...same could be said for samuel l jackson....hes been a charicature of himself for a while now but never worse than in this movie......leo and waltz were incredible

the hobbit - i slept through a piece of the middle, but from the parts that i remember i hated every second of it.  thank god the giant birds came to save everyone. i almost left and went to work.

Django - IGY summed it up nicely for the most part, although I did't think Foxx was miscast.  I just think Tarantino didn't want the title character talking like a southern slave for 2.5 hrs. And I'm guessing he wanted Jackson to be typical Sam Jackson too. Historical accuracy isn't really Tarantino's calling card.

Agree on the ending though.  Almost felt like he couldn't figure out how to end it and just decided to blow everything up.  Overall, it was very well done and entertaining.
