Munson

If Pimp wasn't Pimp, and Maclin had the Pimp vibe, IGY would be talking up Maclin as the better receiver.

Just let it go.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Get Chip?

QuoteTwitter was abuzz with Kelly's name during last Sunday's games. "If you're Chip Kelly, Eagles situation looks pretty tempting for move to NFL," NFL draft writer Matt Miller tweeted.

Imagine Michael Vick running the spread-option.

i read an article somewhere last week where a few nfl scouts said chip kelly runs the best football practice they have ever seen at any level

That statement was also in the article Easy posted, as well as this:

QuoteIt's a personnel-driven game and I think the coaches that are the best at it can adapt their systems to the NFL," Kelly told a Seattle radio station this summer.

McPherson says Vick called a players-only meeting yesterday and 9 or 10 "leaders" (ha) bitched the rest of the team out.  Cullen, DeMeco and Celek were some of the guys that spoke...

Cullen Jenkins makes like one play a game and celebrates for 15 seconds.

QuoteReport: Vick, Reid had "heart-to-heart" meeting
Posted by Mike Florio on November 3, 2012, 11:16 AM EDT

After weeks of equivocation, Eagles coach Andy Reid said that Mike Vick will remain the starting quarterback indefinitely, and that it won't be a week-to-week proposition.

The declaration, the veracity of which some are questioning, came after a "heart-to-heart" meeting between Reid and Vick, according to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports.

Per Cole, the meeting occurred "a few days after Vick publicly suggested he might be benched," and it was "extremely productive."  Cole reports that Reid decided he "might have lost his players psychologically" if Vick had been benched.

Cole offers quotes from an unnamed Eagles defensive player to prove the point that Reid would have lost the locker room if the switch had been made from Vick to rookie Nick Foles.

Still, given that Reid has contradicted multiple past public proclamations, it's hard not to wonder whether the commitment to Vick is aimed at getting him to quit worrying about whether the next mistake will be his last mistake.  If he plays well and the Eagles win, Reid won't have to go back on his word, again.  If Vick continues to struggle and the team continues to lose, whether Reid is criticized for not being honest will be the least of the coach's problems.

Our best hope is that Vick gets injured. Not something I usually root for but in this instance it fits.
