Yes but there's more passion and energy involved with hating another teams fans than there are hating a group of people who are fans of a movie. You can't even compare the two as you don't even have another movie facing off against that movie for there to be a rivalry.

hunger games - completely average in every way....the premise was pretty interesting but the execution was overly long....there was no investment required in the movie...from the first 15 minutes all i wanted to see was the last 15 minutes to see how they would wrap up a foregone conclusion

Speaking of which, I watched Young Adult this weekend. It was meh. Ok, but nothing great. Slutty drunk Charlize is, predictably, smokin' hot, but the rest just meandered between awkward hit-or-miss attempts at comedy and awkward hit-or-miss attempts at serious bummer themes.

FWIW, I read and thoroughly enjoyed the book, and I thought the movie was comparatively pedestrian. I was impressed that they varied so little from the book, but that only made it a little boring. I'd probably go 7/10 due to some excellent acting from Jennifer Lawrence carrying the movie, but I was generally disappointed. Expectations were too high.
