Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Safe to say Peck was a pretty good actor.

Saw American Reunion. Copy was zesty but still got the gist of the movie. It was so so. Some funny parts. Rebecca Demornay looked smoking hot.

Anyone else looking forward to Cabin in the Woods?  I don't normally go to see horror movies in the theater, but it's getting ridiculous reviews about how it subverts the genre etc, and Whedon normally has some fresh takes on things.

i already got my tickets for tomorrow night....the twist(s) in the movie is supposed to be ridiculous and almost everything ive read about it says to know as little as possible going in and the experience will be much better

and i dont think it subverts the genre as much as it is a throwback to what horror movies used to be...from what ive read it contains some tongue in cheek messages towards the genre in some of the same ways scream did....but mostly its a throwback to classic slasher flicks and a condemnation of the tortue movies like saw and hostel...which are gorror films not horror

guy on the local news today raved about cabin in the woods...gave it a 5/5 and said the last half hour is the best hes ever seen

theres been a lot of really good ones in the last couple years but im whore for them

i didnt read the review yet because im trying to stay away from them but lisa schwarzbaum only gave it a B-

yeah I saw the little snippets on rottentomatoes about it but have refused to read any actual reviews because they all seem to say the less you know the better.

cabin in the woods - im not gonna say anything about the movie itself as to not spoil anything....all im gonna say is that it was one of the single worst pieces of shtein ive ever seen and i cant believe i paid for and sat thru it

i cant explain a lot but the reviews dont reveal at all what the movie is like...you still may like it if you are into what the movie becomes but theres no point in reading the reviews

I had no interest in seeing the movie as the whole thing looked awful to men. Then it got this buzz and this talk of a surprise twist so I was a little intrigued. I'll probably watch it on the hack site I go to. I know nothing about the flick except there are teens in the woods and there is some computer generated crap scaring them.

90%+ rating for the critics and this thing gets a 0 out of 10. c'mon. what the hell were they watching then.

I don't care if it's from Rotten Tomatoes or your favorite movie critic site of all time--I go by a a very favorable majority when deciding to see/ rent a movie and it usually turns out correct.

Give me something here as I'm about to go with the wife to see it tonight. I mean is this like a Motorhome Massacre bad type flick?
