I guess if we can correlate a 6 out of 10 movie to a girl that is a 6 out of 10....I guess if there is nothing else on...

Why couldn't they have gone with that angle? That would have made it a very good flick.

exactly...if you wanna go in that direction then make the whole movie like that....but they didnt which is why that alternate ending doesnt work

and for the record i think the movie as is is a good one

I disagree with all of this.

First, the movie did go in that direction and then abruptly abandoned the 'monsters have feelings and intelligence' angle at the end so that they could focus on explosions and CGI.

Second, the alternate ending makes much more sense in almost every way.

Third, the movie was watchable but ultimately not good at all simply because it had potential to be great and didn't come close to meeting that potential.

I just finished watching Moon and holy shtein was it good. I had high hopes and it completely surpassed them. Recommendedly highly.

I watched it yesterday it was farging great.

Right? I mean, I have to think about it a bit, but it might be the best movie I've seen since No Country for Old Men, and that's high farging praise coming from me.

Yeah you are probably right, I went in with the same mindset as you expecting it to be good.  It turned out to be phenomenal.

i saw it on the netflix instant watch thingy but i assumed it was a twilight movie.

MDS

I was thinking bout seeing it before this (gay) convo and to recap:

Matthias thinks its a twilight movie

Russell st pierre says its amazing

WHO DO I TRUST?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The BIGSTUD

Tiebreaker:

It's a good movie. I don't know if I'd called it great, but I liked it quite a bit.

Going to watch the movie Thirst tonight. Another Park(Oldboy) movie. Heard good things.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

I am having trouble understanding how you could miss the obvious inferrence about the zombie-vampire-monster-bitches having feelings/intelligence. It was pretty apparent.

Moon was good, watched in on netflix sometime ago. I don't know if it was as good as your guys are hyping it.

it was five seconds of a two hr movie...whether it was obvious or not it was completely played down

im sure it was a huge part of the book which is what is skewing your feelings on the movie
