Anyone seen a good movie lately?

I never thought of Scarface as anything otehr than a great moview to watch if you're gonna get baked, or come home Drunk as shtein from the bar to watch.

the worst part about scarface is the score....that loud awful angry organ synth music is just ear splittingly painful and basically makes the movie unwatchable

without a doubt, they used that typical 80s synthesizer for almost all the movie.

I've only seen Scarface once and thought it was forgettable.

Confession: I've never seen any of the Godfather movies in their entirety. I own the trilogy and have seen each in bits and pieces but as a story I could only tell you what happened in the first one. One of these days I'm going to buy a case of beer and order a pizza and watch the entire trilogy. I should probably skip part 3 since I heard it blows but I'll give it a watch since it's part of the story.

I've probably seen I and II 50 times in their entirety. It drives the ladyfriend insane. Every time its on TV I watch it. It's like a compulsion that I can't control.

In other words, you are a bad person. Watch the movies, jerk.

godfathers are undeniably great but at the same time overrated in their own right...they dont even crack my top twenty movies...they are awesome for exactly the kind of viewing sd described...when its on tv watch 20 minutes of it here...flip around a little bit watch an other 15 minutes there....naptime while deniro goes back to the motherland...wake up and watch another 10 minutes....check to see how tiger is doing...flip back if hes out of it...ect...

theres no way i could watch either of them straight thru ever again....my biggest problem with them is the picture quality is so dated looking

in fact gomorra from last eyar is better than either godfather pic imo

speaking of Godfather, HBO had a great documentary on John Cazale the other day, i started it about 20 minutes in but he was such an underrated actor

No, each of the five movies were nominated for Best Film. I don't think he was actually nominated for his acting. Dummy.
