i see what you are saying but the alternate was still mad corny...at least have them bum rush the lab kill all three of them and then take the chick away...to come in just chill out and moan like free willy a few times was awful...which i guess is why they didnt go with it

so i know this isn't new to anyone but but i activated my sister's netflix through my xbox the other night and it's badass.  seems so easy though, why doesn't everyone just share codes?

Yeah, it's great-- but only one xbox can be activated per account. I use my parent's account because they don't use an xbox.

it's better now because you used to only be able to pick movies you put on your instant queue.  but now, you can browse online and right from your xbox.

I just finished watching Moon and holy shtein was it good. I had high hopes and it completely surpassed them. Recommendedly highly.

I just watched the trailer and I'm going to try and remember it next time I go rent a video. Yeah, yeah, I also buy CD's at the store. But I don't have a pager.

In the book, the monsters were afraid of him. They were setting up a new society, and he'd been going around killing them in their sleep for months. So they set up a SWAT team to capture him to give him a public execution. He was the monster they were afraid of.

exactly...if you wanna go in that direction then make the whole movie like that....but they didnt which is why that alternate ending doesnt work

and for the record i think the movie as is is a good one

The problem with a lot of movies like that is that they try to be everything in one flick. Instead of focusing on one or two elements...they try to be everything, i.e., the savior, the survivor, the anti-social, the man that lacks faith and then at the end has an epiphany, lonely, etc., etc.

I would much rather see a douchebag but focus on one or two elements and go the movie that route.

Which is why I disagree with you  IGY. This was not a good movie. It was mayonaise. It was too spread for me.

And then the underdeveloped human element of the dark seekers...and at the end I'm supposed to be guessing and acting like the director is some kind of genius because the farging bald monster burnt some skin off? This isn't pulp fiction.

This movie should merit no higher than 6 out of 10...only because it had an apocalyptic element to it. That's it.

My brother is a computer animator.  He worked on I am Legend, creating a rough cut animation that is never seen outside the production team.  It's mostly for the director to get a general idea of the location and motion of animated objects, etc.  When Will Smith saw some of their modeling of his character, he actually took acting cues from the non-animated face they had stuck on.  Moron.

i thought the movie was about as simplistic as it gets...then again i didnt watch it all that closely... i honestly dont even remember the scene when he captures the chick...i thought she was in his lab from the start of the movie

and 6 out of 10 = good

i didnt think it was great or even very good...just a good movie that i will always turn to when on and at least watch some of it

the only part i didnt like were the flashback scenes that shows what happened to his wife and kid...all that was unecessary and boring
