i'm a little confused.  if you have an ipod, how did you get the music on there in the first place?  i'm assuming it came from the music you have stored on your pc, right?

I'm noticing a theme here, that Sarge seems to think an iPod can replace anything.

If you have an iPod, why would you need a CD player?
If you have an iPod, why would you want a computer?

cd player is irrelevant.  it's the 21st century and i'm all for digital media.  no more cd's, dvd's or photo albums for this guy when i can carry all of that stuff on something that fits in my pocket.   

ipod does not replace a computer but ipad does replace the need for a laptop....at least for me. 

i hadn't thought about the third one before.  too bad i already wasted the "is there an app for that?" in the iphone thread.
