Anyone seen a good movie lately?

fair point but then again its oliver stone and he is just a generally terrible filmmaker. hes a crazy person who unapologetically interjects his inane beliefs into every single frame of his films. and i didnt even see W yet.

in the least the movie is passably entertaining, even unintentionally funny. and the pacino speech is killer.

Any Given Sunday might be the worst movie ever made simply because it does everything in its power to ruin professional football. The acting is terrible the direction is terrible. But the worst part about it is that Stone attempts to make a movie about a sport that he clearly knows nothing about and has no respect for.

air bud: golden receiver was a better football movie than any given sunday.  if you just take every football cliche known to man and make a movie out of it, any given sunday is exactly what you get.  it was a train wreck movie though because i literally couldn't take my eyes off of it. 

the best part of that movie was the closing credits.  because that meant the movie was over.

Well, let's be honest. The best scene was LL bumping coke off of a groupy's cans. Second best scene was the bloody rape and death scene of Cameron Diaz that I imagined happened at the end.

interesting.  i imagine that all cameron diaz movies end that way.  you'd thing i would get tired of the same ending over and over again.  but i don't.

Maybe if someone would just script and film that scene she would finally win that oscar she's been gunning for. Or maybe she would just die and no one would notice. Either way, win.

i wont cable until tomorrow so im watching sky tv's coverage of the oscars on channel surfing. instead of commercials they have a round table discussion on what just happened, with it usually being 4 british people gushing lovingly over the awesomeness of hollywood and everyone involved.

i miss the commercials.

I thought The Program was pretty close to Any Given Sunday in awfulness, but The Program didn't have Pacino randomly yelling.
