the whole spiderman franchise (movie wise) has been overrated to me. i know it appeals to a broader audience and the technology caught up to the comics to visualise spiderman's world but even the first movie was just good to me...nothing amazing.

the CGI i thought they used too much and spiderman for the most part felt lifeless...like gumby swinging thru the city.

i like spiderman 2 best out of the three.

the only real comic book movie that matters is BATMAN BEGINS.

fo those insterested in the sequel, The Dark Knight, WB is showing the first 5 min of the movie if you watch I Am Legend in IMAX.
Marge: I have someone who can help you!
Homer: Is it BATMAN!!??
Marge: No hes a scientist
Homer: Batman is a scientist.
Marge: Its not BATMAN!

X-Men 1 and 2 were good
Sin City wasn't a traditional comic book movie but was good

Spiderman 1 and 2 were good, 3 should have been the best since it had Venom but they did just about everything they could to ruin it.

Just finished Omega Man. It was silly but I enjoyed it. Probably because it was silly actually. Charlton Heston is such a cartoon character.

Oh yeah, and I got roped into watching Ocean's 13 (never saw Ocean's 12). It was completely meh. probably less than meh, actually. Meh-minus.

I particularly loved seeing him get speared at the end.  Mostly because I'd like to drive a spear through that farging jackass.

X-Men 1 was good. X-Men 2 was outstanding. X-Men 3 was stupid.
Spiderman 1 was good. Spierman 2 was not quite as good. Probably won't bother seeing Spiderman 3.

None of them can really hold a candle to Batman Begins. It was a classic. I'm farging psyched about Dark Knight in 2008.

They actually got real actors to be in Batman Begins.  There was one scene in Spiderman 3 between Maguire and Dunst that seemed more like it was from a spoof movie than the real thing.

Comparing any of that crap to the new Batman franchise is unfair all around.

And blood was spilled in the making of it.  It's got Satan power.

Modern Romance 2.5/5 - Early 80's relationship flick. Had some funny parts
Prizzi's Honor 2/5 - Fell asleep an hour into it and decided not to finish it. Nicholson was only so so
Unforgiven 3.5/5 - Ending when Eastwood walks into the saloon with the double barrel shotgun was badass

I think that movie is about as good as it gets.

wow, only 3.5 for Unforgiven?

Agreed. How was it not 5 of 5.

Gene Hackman was awesome. Eastwood and Freeman were ok too.

The fact that Eastwood was a badass all around and killed women and children. Gene hackman was an a-hole of a sherriff...he was a great character to hate.

Unforgiven and Tombstone, 2 great westerns. Probably top 5 of all time. (Westerns Category).
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

I was teetering on giving it a 4. I don't give out many 5's. I thought it was good and the ending was great. I'll fold under peer pressure here and give it a 4. I also got caught up in comparing it to Eastwood's other westerns.
