Just saw The Mist.  Not sure I liked it.  Was a pretty standard horror flick.  But the ending, man, that wasn't mainstream.  At all.
And it's still bugging me.  A lot.

Watched Bourne Ultimatum lastnight, I enjoyed it thought it was a decent "ending" to the trilogy.  I plan to watch Michael Clayton this afternoon.

I'll probably check that out in the theater. Anything with a post apocalyptic theme gives me wood. I just hope Will Smith doesn't ruin it.

There are more books so they can make another sequel. I read somewhere they wanted to stop after 3 but with the ending the way it was they could easily do another.

As I recall, Chuck didn't turn out so well in Omega Man.

And God knows it wasn't good enough to warrant remaking.

But such reservations have to be weighed against a mind-blowing ending, so bold I can hardly believe Darabont got away with it. Don't they test-screen movies any more?

i actually really want to see this now, they need to pay you some of the money budgeted for marketing. 

about test-screening, i hope they didn't screen it, or if they did, they didn't care if they got negative feedback.  test-screening is one of the worst ideas that has hit the movie business in the past 20 years.
