I watched a great friggen movie last night called Point Blank.

It was the original version of the Mel Gibson movie "Payback" and it was excellent.  Lee Marvin & Angie Dickinson were the stars and John Vernon (Dean Wormer from Animal House) was the villain!  John Boorman was the director and I'd rank this movie up with Deliverance.   Great story - really interesting cinematography - they shot a lot of the exterior scenes in Alcatraz & around Los Angeles and it was really strange seeing L.A. and San Francisco without so much development.

Carroll O'Connor played a bit part in the movie as well.  He's always associated with the Archie Bunker role but in this movie he played a completely different sort of character.

Great off-beat 60's style noir film.  A solid 4.5 out of 5 for Point Blank.

PS: Angie Dickinson was around 35 or 36 years old in this film and she was incredibly sexy in it.  Even got to see a little partial Angie nakedness which was a nice bonus.

I didn't realize that Payback was a remake.  I'm not surprised though since that seems to be about the only way Hollywood can put out a movie these days.  I liked Payback though so I'll definately have to give Point Blank a look.

Watched Blood Diamond finally last night. I didn't think it was as great as advertised. 3/5

Mr. Brooks: I fell asleep it was that bad. Nakedness in beginning though. 1/5

Spiderman 3: Geek report: They totally trashed the character Venom. Not only was he weak as farg, but they picked a actor who wasn't even remotely close to what he was in the comic book. fargin Eric from Thats 70's Show?@@? Eddie Brock was a huge jock, not a geeky photographer. Venom was small, as big as Spiderman. If the people actually picked up a comic book with Venom, they would know he was much bigger and badder than Spiderman. GAY GAY GAY GAY
Normal movie review: Almost as bad as number 2. 2/5

I'm not really into the whole 'cheerleader' look. The only time it works for me is when its a simple looking white bitch like that. That is definitely wank-yanking material!  >:D

Great movie.  I remember a few years back TNT or TBS or one of those networks was airing that movie like 3 or 4 times a week during the same time that that one guy was in the process of winning on Jeopardy for like a month straight.  Coincidence?

Drunkmasterflex

Watched "Resurrecting the Champ" it wasn't too bad.  The quality was poor on the DVD and had arab subtitles so that may have thrown me off a little.  Also watched "Good Luck Chuck" at the suggestion of guys in my unit, can't say I had many expectations.  I am glad I didn't, it was pretty much something to pass time.  There are some funny parts and there is a plethra of hot women.
