[Movies] Christian Bale Likely For Terminator 4
Posted by Ashish on 11.23.2007

From Batman to Terminator!

Ain't It Cool News reports that Christian Bale is set to play John Connor in the upcoming Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins for director McG. Connor, mankind's hope for the future, was previously played by Edward Furlong and Nick Stahl. The new film seeks to reinvent the cyborg saga with a storyline to be told over a three-pic span.

farging awesome

He's perfect for the role of a hardened, bad-ass John Connor.  But for serious, that kicks ass.

Saw No Country for Old Men Friday night. farging great. Javier Bardem turned in one of the best villian performances I've seen in a long time.

9/10.

Saw Batman Begins for the very first time last night before 'our' eagles game.

It gets the triple A. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

I know that arejayess has been one of the movie's biggest pimps.

How can you not like this movie. Let's you know about Batmans ninja like training, fearlessness, Alfred is not a Hoyda, and the way the movie ends, it leaves you hanging, in a good way, like Lord of the rings did, waiting for the next one. What a dope ass movie. It's one of the rare movies where story development was more exciting than the action scenes. Awesome.

'Didn't you get the memo?'

5/5.

Watched Babel over the break. Kind of like Crash the sequel but still passable. 3/5

Watched one flew over the cuckoo's nest as well. What a F'd up movie. Great though! 5/5

After reading the book and watching the movie I can honestly say that it was one of the best adaptations I have ever seen. The Coen brothers absolutely nailed it. They didn't build suspense, they smacked you with utter dread. You knew nothing but bad shtein was going to happen but you couldn't look away and you couldn't help but hope that something (anything) good would happen to the characters. Speaking of, depsite the great work that the Coens did, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem were perfectly cast and even if the movie had just been the two of them on screen the whole time they would have completely carried it off. Anton Chigurh and Lewelyn Moss are instantly two of my all time favorite movie characters.

farging fantastic.

Stranger Than Fiction - i really liked it, until the end, which they farged up

Ocean's Thirteen - predicted the end about 35 minutes in...gay.  Ellen Barkin was smokin.

Finally saw Planet Terror last night. I really enjoyed it. The Ladyfriend did not. I'm guessing that that sums up the problem with the Grindhouse movies perfectly. They were made for movie nerds who enjoy cheesy zombie story lines and ridiculous plots/dialog/camera shots as long as the movie is made in good fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. However, that target audience is exceedingly small.

Anyway, it was a zombie movie with tons of gratuitous cartoon violence and intentionally awful acting. It gets the thumbs up from me.

It would have been cooler if they had shown Rose's winker.

Molly Shannon was surprisingly good, yes.

It is offbeat, yes.

However, it is not a love story at all, and overall was quite poorly done and a thinly veiled ad for PETA.  You just like it because it's not an action movie or based on a comic book.
