The defense is allowing 18 points per game. They allowed 10 to Houston, 24 to San Fran, 30 to the Giants, 9 to Green Bay and 17 to Dallas. The combined records of their opponents is 8-14. Four of the five quarterbacks they've played were #1 overall draft picks. The other is a first ballot hall of famer and a Superbowl winner. They lead the league in sacks and forced fumbles. They have 11 takeaways which is tied for 5th in the league. They are allowing 335 yards per game.

There's a lot of usefless information. Anyone can make anything they want out of it. Now please shut up.

That's funny...I think I remember being bitched at for using common sense to explain why Hank Baskett wasn't getting, nor was he ever going to get awesome numbers in this offense...And not just rolling with "he sucks".

Say, how's Hank been doing now that he's moved up to the 4th target in the offense anyway?

hank baskett will never get awesome numbers in the nfl...he got a one once in a lifetime bomb because he was left alone with a safety and the qb made a great read and an even better throw

talk to me in a year or three (not after one play) and lets see what his numbers are...if hes even playing

I'm not using one play. I'm using the increase in looks/production that he has seen since Stallworth went down with injury. Or am I just imagining that? Not to mention he almost made anotheer great catch sunday, and only dropped it because when he came down the ball jammed into his stomach/ribs.

And I've already said he won't put up "awesome" numbers...I simply said he doesn't suck just because he didn't have great numbers in the first 2 games of the year, like you badly wanted to think.

A player who can produce when more oppertunites are given to him is fine in my book. I hope Avant eventually over-takes him, obviously, but to say the 5th option in an offense sucks because he isn't producing a lot is....stupid.

You're still saying that he doesn't suck for a fifth option. We're saying he sucks BECAUSE he is only the fifth option. Stop pretending like you don't get that. All it does is further prove your idiocy.

i never said he would suck....i said he will never get open in the nfl but he may have some value in the red zone and as a possesion guy

but in the same vein as you lauding him for one catch vs dallas i wouldnt come back monday and kill him when he has two catches for 11 yards against the saints....this is a two year plan for him and trying to validate your opinion of him on one catch when he has done absolutely nothing for the other five games is silly

So Baskett sucks because the fans, the team, and even you know that Stallworth, Brown, LJ, and Westbrook should all get the ball before him? Because all four of those guys are better players then Baskett, he sucks?

Whoever the 3rd WR in this offense is, he will be the 5th option. If we suddently traded for Marvin Harrison, and Marv/Stallworth were our starters, and Reggie was bumped down...does that mean Reggie sucks now too? Or if the Eagles decided to target Reggie more then LJ, does that mean that LJ Smith now sucks?

I'm pretty sure mr. negative over there said "he sucks" and you, in effect, agreed with him in another thread.

I've already stated that I'm not "validating my opinion on one play", I'm just saying he must not be as bad as you seem to think he is. As I "predicted" (I know you love that word), his numbers have gone up with the increase in looks since Stallworth got hurt. Yep, will never get open or produce. Ever.
