the episode actually ended around 1000, which made the running time a little over 50 minutes. usually episodes run from 52-57, so really, it was normal length. shut up, bitch.

Nothing on television runs the full length of the time slot it's in.

for clarification:
sitcoms run 20-22 minutes
dramas run 40-42 minutes

for hbo shows, the only two i can think off that constantly run the full time are curb (30+) and the wire (rarely below 58).

also, in syndication, they edit a few minutes out of each episode to increase commerical time. So on a 7:30 seinfeld, the actual episode running time is normally like 18 minutes.

The only thing that I am pissed about is that they waited so long to get this war started. We've got one episode left this season and then have to wait until January.
