i agree with Janice = Livia.  that's why I think it is eventually her who is behind a move against Tony if that's how the show ends.

the Johnny Sack thing is huge.  I guess Phil will move into the top spot permanantly.  i wonder if New York will make a move against him in prison for breaking omerta.

I agree. The leash is off Phil now. Phil is going to be like 80 when Johnny Sack gets out. He'll be rotting away in his death bed. He doesn't have to kiss up to him anymore. Phil is going to probably drop the nice guy act that he kept up only for John's sake. Phil is still pissed about his kid brother.

Things that are going to happen: NY is going to get into it with NJ because Phil is in charge now, and Carmela will find out what really happened to Ade.

Things are going to fall apart for Tony probably.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i love you MDS cakes.

Finally, a war.

But half the episode sucked again. I really don't care about Carmela. Just stop with the nonsense and let's see thing escalate already.

ice grillin you

yeah ENOUGH WITH PARIS!

other than that though....a brilliant return for the show after two piss poor episodes...two weeks ago being one of the worst ever...galdolfinis work in the garage with aj was so good....he was absolutely frightening...bordering on sadistic.......i thought for sure he was gonna beat the piss outta him...brilliant....

it was also good to see signs of david chases writing back in the script...

the scene where phills guy gets killed at the bing was purposely reminiscent of the shine box scene...the irony of course being that it was phil leotardo who was killed in goodfellas
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Phil coming "out of the closet" was classic.

The problem I have with this season is that there seem to be too many story lines.  I like most episodes this season as an individual part but it really doesn't seem to be going anywhere.  I don't mind tangents (like Paris or the Artie episode) if they can be resolved logically within the main story line.  It just seems with only 9 episodes left ever that the show has gotten away and it seems unlikely that everything can be tied together adequately.

Last nights show was great though.

every time I saw Carmela looking at the statues for 9 minutes, Im thinking they might break into some kind of old memory scene or something might happen. The fact that they just had her frollicking around daydreaming about fine art and having deep "jack handy" thoughts was brutal. Nobody needs that crap, especially when you only have an hour episode.

He looked like Dracula at first.

Well I called Vito dieing, of course, I knew his fag friend wouldnt be one killing him. But, man I do love you Johnny Cakes.

Good episode overall, the Carmela thing went on too long, but it was good set up for her I think finally giving up on "the life," mostly through Ade's death (first person tony had killed that carmela had a friendly relationship with). Shes been denying what kind of life shes in, but I see it all cultivating in the finale with her running away or just plain killing tony when she gets the true facts about ade.

I think AJ might try to kill himself.

The previews showed some street thugs eyeing him down. He might get jumped next week.

I still think they need to get someone in Tony's family wacked, if not every one of them. It would make for an extremely powerful scene. As much of a criminal and bad guy Tony is, he loves his family. He'd have a total breakdown if anyone in his family got killed.

Yeah...no shtein man.  Hell, they really aren't even giving us a full hour episode.  Last night it started at 9:05 and then they have the stupid flashback and theme song.  That takes up about 5 mins there and then at the end they cut it off at like 9:56.  Hell..we only got about 49 mins last night.  It's fargin BS!!

We are owed an hour and 20 min episode.  Farg Big Love!

most of the episodes don't go an hour.
