if you're thinking of trading Simon for a guy that sucks, why not just cut the guy and go with the inexperienced WRs you already have?  no point in adding suck to a group of wide receivers.

Me thinks he sucks less than Carlos Perez.

You only said that to hurt me.

FFatPatt, I don't remember Simon particularly sucking in the playoffs.

Do you, then, remember him playing like a guy who deserves an 8-figure signing bonus?

How about a guy who deserves to make $5+ million in salary this year?

Hint: The answer is HELL FARGING NO.

I agree, He wasn't making his presence known in the playoffs by any means. He had all of 5 tkls. in the playoffs and one in the SB, no sacks. Doesn't sound like a 5 million dollar player, especially after seeing how good Patterson looks. He won't be worth 5 mil with the cut in playing time he'll get if or when he comes back to the Eagles.

Munson

I think he should get something like......

5 Years, 21 million....7.5 million signing bonus. Maybe 8.

What's the difference, like 4 million? I guess Corey really needs that extra 4-5 million ::)

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Might be time to ditch the s/n, Munson. :P

BrownPatterson8698 seems to be the best option nowadays

ice grillin you

but through all that, you both are acknowledging that when his is in shape, he is a dominating DT.  i contend that he will come to camp in shape this year and play well.  people on here act like he is the 4th DT and can easily be replaced.

they act like that because hes in a dispute with the untouchables in the front office...so he must suck and be fat or else the gods would have paid him already

sun mo is on point like a needle...simon is a very good to great DT that this team needs and would be much better with than without...and the fact that he is so good at an important position is the reason he hasnt been let go

haters
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

General_Failure

Perhaps he's waiting for the right moment to show this alleged greatness he has. Like, say, during the playoffs or superbowl.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Zanshin

And what statistical data do you have to support that assertion.  Regardless of his contract situation, he's been a disappointment the last few years.  Did you go to camp and see him last year-- he reported in HORRIBLE shape.  What has he done that's worthy of being the highest paid at his position?  Or even close?

Man... I feel a "Myth of Simon's Greatness" thread coming on...
