krasner absolutely cleaned vega's clock. for as much negative attention that was around him, for as low as the turnout was and how little interest there was in backing him (i got tons of texts about rando judges but zilch for him) and conversely how much the pigs and their supporters circled around vega...dood got destroyed by a 2/3rds majority. vega now has time to go hang with the proud boys.

my neighborhood which can be a bit rough went 82-18, my specific block area 85-15. liberal havens, people. find them. its comforting to live in one.

the election was pretty much old whites vs blacks/young progressives. the heat map looked like a typical election. vega carried the NE and deep south philly. northwest was mixed, everything else broke hard krasner. dont farg with philly. a bunch of krasner backed local judges won, too. farging pittsburgh elected a black mayor. the message has been sent loud and clear.

state wide, total dem votes for judges = 3.31 mil. republican = 3.09. so over 200,000 more dem votes. for an primary election with nothing interesting at all on the ballot, this is a continued trend of there just being more democratic voters in this state than republican. its never going turn uncompetitive like virginia but we shouldnt be losing in 2022.

My kid applied for a job at Starbucks. It got shut down for COVID.  The manager had a family member die so the interview fell to the asst mgr to conduct.  She forgot and left my kid waiting at a closed store.  My kid called her friend who works at the same store, she got in touch with the asst mgr who then met my daughter for the interview at... wait for it... Dunkin Donuts. 

100% true. 

That was Sunday.  She is still waiting for a callback. 

But yeah, places are soooooo desperate for help. 

I told my girl to take the summer off if she wants.  We don't need the dough and she'll be working for the rest of her life starting next year after she graduates from college. 

Her answer: "No, Dad.  Places need help and I can work, so I will."
