I started watching Z Nation. It's terrible, but could be good if it had a budget, better pacing, writing, and direction. I'm going to continue watching this dumb show.

Aside from GF not sure anyone watches the clone wars animated series. Best Star Wars next to the OT and in many ways it rivals its brilliance. The series finale aired last night, the final 4 episodes were on par with anything SW related ever. The final scene is incredible. Ahsoka is a top 10 SW character. Rosario Dawson is playing her in the second season of the Mandalorian but from what I understand it's a brief cameo setting her up for either a movie or a series.

binged latest season of westworld over the last few nights.

meh. felt like they tried to make it seem smarter by trying to make it more confusing but it wasn't really that complicated.

at one point I told my wife marshawn lycnh is gonna save the day then 2 seconds late he took a bullet for Jesse pinkman.

I'll watch next season but I don't think it's that great of a show.

I might have said this after the first season, but the show touches on a ton of interesting ideas, then chooses the most dumb and convoluted ultra-violent storyline through those ideas. In the third season, it barely even has bothers to float the ideas anymore. Horribly written show. Highlight of Season 3 was Marshawn Lynch's shirt.

They're supposedly looking at several spinoffs for Disney + from the Mandalorian. I wish they'd translate some of the EU source material into movies like Marvel did with their comics.

I was very sick of Delores the Murder Bot but the way they wrapped up her arc at the very end with her remembering her "old self" and not being so vindictive I actually really liked a lot.

The show is never gonna be as good as it was in Season 1 but, I did get a new appreciation for Season 2 (and Maeve especially) after re-watching it, and Season 3 was basically just a brand new show where they clearly had a problem figuring out what to do with Bernard and William all season. They might as well have Bran from Game of Thrones'd then and kept them off screen for a season, but they had to set them up for what seems like will be important stories in Season 4.

how far did you make it?    i watched season 1 when it originally aired but the first ep of season 2 was it for me. that's when it went from terrible to unwatchable for me.

I stopped a couple of episodes into season 5. It got continually more dumb, but in a fun way. At some point they decided the star was Kellita Smith's cleavage and that they should just remake the Resident Evil movies with her as Mila Jovovich.

There's probably half a season left to go, but it's all about a coup in some settlements trying to form a new nation and I just don't care.

the zombie stripper pole dancing is what turned me away from the show...as amazing as that sounds.

I'm 6 episodes into Hannibal now that it's on Netflix.  I'm shocked that show aired on nbc.  It's good so far.
