I think he gets one more year.

I don't see Lurie cutting bait just yet. They'll meet after the season and I expect to hear he's coming back another year.

on a scale of 1-10 how bad do you want him gone?

I'm hovering right around 2

Hundred million.

I've cooled down a bit

Sorry for not being apoplectic and beside myself and all that Great Fan stuff

im just messing with you...I knew last night you were pretending to be a wip caller and not the true homer that you are...you attempted to quietly nuzzle your way back home when you posted that chip took responsibility in his presser...that was when my homer I mean my homie j was back

your fake anger was cute while it lasted tho
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

Well he did take responsibility for the first time

And my anger wasn't fake. I was pissed.

ice grillin you

nah...you can never truly be pissed at your teams...i wish i had it in me...as much as i hate fans like you at times i am jealous as hell of what you do

Wait.....what did he take responsibility for?  Gutting the roster?  Being clueless?  Having a play book that fits on a 3x5 card?  Hiring Billy Davis?  Putting too much yogurt in the smoothies?  Answer me!!

what did he take responsibility for?

nothing

he said he had to coach better or some stupid shtein like that....j after having an out of body experience during the game needed a way to get back to a 6 and support chip so he pointed to the presser as a reason to do so

only an intergalactic homer could be at a 6 less than 24 hrs after the last two weeks have ended...in fact whoever the second biggest eagle homer in the world is would not be above a 2 right now

That's false - I've been livid plenty of times. Just learned to not let it marinate too long

Watch the PC sarge. He was in full Andy mode yesterday.

Fwiw, Billy Davis says Chip is committed. He may have been misquoted though. Probably said that Chip should be committed.

Good news is kellys hubris and demand for all-power might hasten a 6 year debacle to a 3-maybe 4.

I wonder how CK responds to Lurie. If he throws Lurie a PR bone - willing to "adjust" (whatever that means) then he gets another year. If he stonewalls I think Lurie is done and cue the mumbling PR blather of "mutual". Lose-out and its academic. (Big bonus is by demoting howie earlier Lurie can promise clean house to next up.)

If he stays its on a virtual short leash and perhaps his deciding factor. Franchise is now FA-toxic. He can only blow-up what hes wrought and draft. That will take some humility and crow - not his style.

So yeah. Big star, fast burn and maybe this shtein gets flushed single-pumper style.

I cant see chip going into any post season state of the union meeting with lurie not full of super hubris...blame everyone else...blame injuries...blame the media.....blame anyone but himself....

and first and foremost defend his system...lurie buying it is the question imo...but chip does not seem like the kind of guy that will say hes gonna change or admit any wrongdoing

I think there is more than a good chance that chip resigns or theres a mutual agreement to part ways mostly cause chip doesn't wanna deal with this pro stuff...and what he will do is say that philly is too tough and that it wasn't fun anymore or some bullshtein like that

Don Ho

Seems like only yesterday when Philly Girl was calling us out for being to negative on this board.  She'd be thrilled with this current out pouring of support.

Pretty sure even she's off the chip bandwagon by now

Sitting on the edge of the bed, his head in his hands, Chip mournfully confides to spads: "If I've lost PG, Iv'e lost the country"

If you're so inclined to see how the Eagles can win the division at 7-9.

Disclaimer: I have to put this because if I don't then I'll have two people squawking homer...I'm not saying it'll happen
