Never understood why people bitched so much about the ending. My dad hated it too, he wanted to see blood and guts. I guess some people watched the show to see wops get capped, and other people watched the show for great writing, great directing, and great acting. And Adriana in tight pants.

One of the best scenes in TV history.

I'm going to miss Justified. I thought it was a solid final season, and they did a nice job keeping true to the Elmore Leonard tone. He was a prolific and talented writer who had his work botched by TV and movies more often than not in the past, so it was cool that this one worked so well and he had input into it before he died last year.

The finale didn't have as much "pop" as I thought it would, but it was solid and true to the characters. Great show in that it didn't try to be more than it was, but rather managed to be an excellent show with diverse and complex characters. Glad they had a chance to wrap it up as they wanted, but sorry to see it go.

never got into it but its def on my binge list.

yea im with zanish....really good ending

it was never a watercooler series for whatever reason, but its definitely up there among the best shows in this era. the dialogue is 2nd only to the wire.

id rank the season 2-4-6-1-3-5.....with 2 being insanely good and 5 being insanely bad
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i'm re-watching Friday Night Lights with my wife (her first).  watching with a more critical eye brings out some things that annoy me because the setting is supposed to be high school but the actions and situations are more collegish.  the amount the kids drink is ridiculous.  and then there was the short arc where some out of town business guy hangs out with tyra and fargs her.  a grown man farged a high school student, crazy.  otherwise it's still really good
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

the drinking stuff is legit....in the book it shows that in texas towns like that the high school football players were definitely treated like pro players/adults versus how me or you would look at a "regular" high school student...they could easily go into any bar or liquor store in town and buy whatever they wanted without even a fake id...and in godforsaken places like that all there is drinking and football

but yeah theres some really stupid other stuff in the show going on....especially in the aforementioned season 2...but that's gonna happen with soap operas

You assume she's a senior because it's season 1 and they don't say otherwise but she is in the next 2 seasons meaning she was probably a 16 year old sophomore.

MDS

she could be 12 and i would eat her out....who cares

I skipped the last two episodes of Better Call Saul. Not enough Nacho, too much Mike. Too much of Jimmy being a loser, and knowing he absolutely has to be a loser for the show to get to where it needs to go I had to force myself to get that far through it.

Finally watched the last episode last night.  I like the show but do agree with you - more Nacho please and the relationship with the chick at the law firm zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.  I actually like the Mike story line.  Give that crusty old farg his own show.

Madmen has been lame so far.  Time to wrap that thing up and move on.

Saw a preview for season 2 of Tyrant. Glad it's coming back. Heard it had been renewed, but hadn't heard anything since.

Certainly not a groundbreaking or amazing show, but was entertaining enough. Have no idea what they're going to do with the story now though.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
