I've actually found Noah's 3 spots on TDS so far to be hilarious. For whatever reason, the studio audiences haven't reacted to his performance/delivery.

That will hopefully change.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

So I suppose no one here watched The Walking Dead season finale last night?

Munson

I did, and it was a strong season.

The finale itself was a good episode, but goddamn they really played up the bloodshed angle in the promos, and left us mostly blue balled. There was a wrap up to the abusive doctor storyline, but otherwise a lot of "..........and we'll see you next season!"

Really wanted
To see Morgan and Rick interact, instead of him showing up at the very end. Would have liked to see Sasha take out Gabriel, but then again it was cool to see Gabriel break down and have a human moment and realize he's just hating himself. Would have liked to learn more about the Wolves, considering they've been getting teased since we saw Noah's old hometown sacked in the episode Tyrese died.
Still a very entertaining season finale despite all the unresolved storylines. Scott Gimple is awesome at this show.

The promo for the spinoff series was short and showed us nothing, but still really excited to see that this summer. I always enjoy "at the time of the outbreak and immediate aftermath" stories. Hopefully it's not as terribly written as the early Walking Dead seasons were at times.

I agree with everything you wrote in the spoilers.  I liked the episode immensely and the scene at the end was phenomenal.  I was exceedingly happy to see a certain someone again.

I think Noah's great, I'm hopeful he works out as the host.

its an odd choice, but understandable

they needed to burn the jon stewart TDS to the ground. it was never being topped. the big names turned them down, of course. so it was smart to go somewhat outside the box.

i wouldve liked jones/bee duo but they are both doing other things
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Amy Poehler would have been epic.  I love her.  Noah's talented but TDS has been a quintessentially American show.  Why a non-American host?   A curious choice to me, but whatever.  I'll miss Stewart no matter who replaces him.

Where did this thread come from and why couldn't I find it an hour or whatever ago?

It didn't go anywhere.

I gave up on watching tv again. I can sit down and have Archer going in the background for a half hour a week, but if the show needs me to pay attention to it to enjoy it then farg it. I could be looking up some recipes, checking out woodworking projects to do, or playing some god damned vidya games. Or watching shtein on YouTube. Somehow YouTube became way more interesting to me than tv shows.

I skipped the last two episodes of Better Call Saul. Not enough Nacho, too much Mike. Too much of Jimmy being a loser, and knowing he absolutely has to be a loser for the show to get to where it needs to go I had to force myself to get that far through it.

I stopped watching Vikings after two episodes this season. If I wanted to watch a show on basic cable go through the same hoops every season I'd have kept watching Sons of Anarchy. I never thought it would be the writing that was the problem with this show, but here we are.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Seabiscuit36

Yeah he is, he took over the daily show and just moved it to HBO.  Did anyone else's show cut off Sunday with 10 mins left of interviews?  It was supposed to be a 50 minute episode, and i noticed my dvr cut it off with dead air for the final few mins.
