GC i loved except for the fact that everyone outside of 50000 lunatics knows that sceintology is a scam....someone needs to do a going clear about orthodox judiasm or islam or christian fundamentalism.

you arent a fan of comedy but oliver is making jon stewart look old

i dont find oliver the least bit funny...in fact i cringe at most of his stuff altho a lot of that has to do with his delivery....he just seems to be so uncomfortable at the desk and is trying way too hard....seems so nervous...whereas stewart was like a pimp...so farging smoove...oliver is a scared nerd...its really hard to watch and i only do it to see him take down motherfargers

Oliver's show in philly a few months ago was amazing.  Way better than expected.   I agree his delivery isn't Stewart's, but I think the issues he tackles are more vital at this point.

i stopped watching stewart a long time ago. i dont know, just didnt do it for me anymore. i think oliver is excellent. i believe the scared nerd delivery is staged. i can see where some wont like it but it works for me.

I skipped the last two episodes of Better Call Saul. Not enough Nacho, too much Mike. Too much of Jimmy being a loser, and knowing he absolutely has to be a loser for the show to get to where it needs to go I had to force myself to get that far through it.

I stopped watching after the 3rd episode. I didn't think it was horrible but it didn't hold my interest.

boardwalk empire you would love. it a prohibition era gangster drama.....plenty of italian trash for you to worship, women are treated like 2nd class citizens, global warming isnt a thought yet, nobody cares about the environment, all this shtein up your ally.

thing with boardwalk is that plot is the least important thing about it....its all about style and era and acting...it has a feel that no other show has ever matched...so imo spoilers are less meaningful to boardwalk than maybe any other show i can think of...at the same time if you don't care about these other things then you probably shouldn't watch it to begin with

Pretty spot on. There's a bunch going on in that show so knowing how Nucky died doesn't really matter. I thought the last season was rushed a bit after rewatching and thinking about how I'd like to have seen it played out.

I also wished they would've kept the Capone angle going in additional seasons.
