Quote
Two people "close" to the Manning family tell Howard Eskin of 94 WIP Philadelphia that Peyton Manning is "very likely" to be a taterskin in 2012.
Eskin is a Philly reporter with a relatively spotty reporting track record, but his information is at least interesting. He refers to the taterskins' interest in "other QBs" as a "smokescreen," and indicates that Mike Shanahan's priority will be to acquire Peyton Manning. On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the taterskins have interest in both Matt Flynn and Kyle Orton.
I'd still be very surprised if he goes to Washington. I'd have thought Manning was smarter than that, and finding a place where he can still run things up to his standards and have a chance to compete would be worth more than the piling on a few gazillion more dollars. He seems levelheaded enough I'd think even he realizes his own limitations, and wouldn't be able to turn a franchise like that into a SB winner.
He has no choice in the matter if the Skins trade for him which is what is being reported that Shannahan wants to do.
hes not going to washington
thats one of the worst franchises if not the worst in the nfl. no shot to win.
peytons neck might fall off one hit into the season and hes not risking it for a 5-11 team
He doesn't have a choice if he's traded. How is that hard to understand? You know damn well Snyder will part with picks to make it happen. The rest of the league knows he's going to be released and Peyton said he'd be willing to restructure his deal with another team, Washington knows they're not on his short list of preferable teams so they'd have to trade for him and pay his signing bonus. This is a typical Snyder move. Not saying it will definitely happen but Peyton really has no say in the matter if the Skins make a trade for him. He can refuse to play for them but then he gets labeled as a whiner which is something he's not.
im pretty sure everyone would be on his side if he didnt want to play for the racists
Mannings sit down, shut up, and play for who they're told to. And why wouldn't he want to play in the same division as his brother, who might possibly go into next season with twice as many superbowl victories as him?

Sure he has a choice. He can just say he doesn't want to play for Washington and he'd be very unhappy there and would probably suck ass playing in that city and my friend Albert Haynesworth says probably my neck would hurtz there too.
Considering how well all of Snyder's moves have worked out of late this is a no brainer.
None of it really matters anyway because Manning is probably going to be released before the Colts can trade him.

That's way too much to give up for an unproven player. Has any team ever given up that much to move up 4 spots? You know the Skins are going to blow the next two seasons so we're probably talking 2 top 10 picks the next two seasons. Great trade for St. Louis.

i have faith that the skins organization is so farged up that he won't amount to much. even if he does they will farg it up with the talent around him. shannahan makes me a little nervous that he could develop, but never underestimate danny and his ability to mess things up
Not that I'm thrilled with the skins maybe getting a franchise quarter back but IGY's hysteria is ridiculous. He said the exact same thing when they signed haynesworth. Oh my god DC has the biggest stars ever! Nightmare scenario!

Classic case of mortgaging your future. He better be a HOF caliber player because giving up two extra #1's and a #2 is a shtein load of talent (theoretically) to give up to get one QB.

Just checking in to confirm what I already knew was going to be the case. Good recap, sir.
lol at the rampant eagles homerism less than a year after the eagles had one of the biggest player acquisition offseason flops in history that everyone went puff their chest out bonkers at the time (i was also 100% in favor of it)
rgiii might suck rgiii might go to the hof...we dont know...but ill take the power move to try and get a franchise qb for the next 15 years anytime over doing nothing...shtein im on record as saying id give this years entire draft plus next years 1 for luck....a couple ones for rgiii seems perfectly reasonble
If the Eagles gave up this years entire draft and next years 1st overall it would still be substantially less than what the Skins gave up to get RG3. Luck is also the safer pick with more upside. You can defend the Skins for taking a chance but common sense says this is a typical big offseason splash move from Danny boy to lure his fans back to drinking the Kool-Aid. Manning told them hell no so he had to do something. There was no other big move to make and they had to outbid Cleveland. Bottom line is they overpaid like a motherfarger. The Giants only gave up [using igy logic] a 3rd a future 1st and a 5th for Eli and they were moving up the same amount of spots.
Vick is a franchise quarterback. Is he preferable to say, Drew Brees? No. But he's still a franchise guy.
And since when is pointing out giving up three #1's and a #2 for a single draft pick "homerism"? I know it is in Binary IGYworld, but not anywhere else, right?
you are overthinking this...who gives a rats ass what the giants gave up...every year is different....the number 2 this year was as coveted a pick as theres been in a long long time....competition drives the price up
but who cares what the price was....if this guy is a franchise qb do you really think the skins will care in two years that they dont have a first round pick?
if the eagles had gotten rgiii yesterday id be the happiest ive been in sports since the phillies world series and it wouldnt even be close
at least it gives you hope and a future to look forward to....and thats something the eagles dont have right now
Quote from: Rome on March 10, 2012, 09:54:46 AM

ahahaha...a 33 year old midget turnover machine running qb who cant read defenses is a franchise qb....wtf?
Yes I think the Skins will care the next two seasons when they don't have 1st round picks. They have cap space but they have so many holes, meaning they can add free agents which will cost money but the cheapest and most effective way to build a team is through the draft.
So what you're saying is the Skins have a brighter future because they traded away a bunch of picks for a guy who hasn't taken a snap yet? That's gold even from you. I'll put a 100 wager right now that the Eagles have a better w/l record than the skins in the next 3-5 seasons. You can pick the years whether it be 3, 4, or 5 years. By then we'll know what this trade meant. My guess is the Skins are their typical selves signing old overpriced f/a's and shipping picks off for scrap.
The Skins have no legit receivers, their running backs are a joke, their offensive line is mediocre and they'll have a rookie quarterback to lead them (if he even starts, that is).
Again, Danny is going full bore into free agency again because he has no other choice. It's been his M.O. since he got to Washington, and that's fine. It's worked so well in the past, amirite!?!
They'll rue the day they made this deal. It's been proven again and again that when you give up this much to get one guy, it sets you back.
It most certainly has not been proven that when you give up this much, it sets you back, because with the exception of one or two deals, no one has ever given this much up.
The most recent blockbuster trade to which this might be best compared is of course Eli and Rivers...and although the Giants did not give up as much for Manning as the taterskins are doing for Griffin, it could hardly be argued that they over paid for him. For two Super Bowl wins, they could have given up six first rounders and it would have been worth it.
Ricky Williams, Herschel Walker, Ryan Leaf, Roy Williams... do those names ring a bell, Dio?
If the Skins were a team like the Jets, being held back more or less solely by the limitations of their QB, I think the picks would be clearly worth it. The Skins don't strike me as a team where you can slot in a top QB and expect instant success, though. Will Danny be able to build a serious team around him as the years pass?
RGIII looks like a tremendous talent to me, but if you look at the history of top 10-pick "can't miss" QBs in the draft, there's a lot of NFL mediocrity. As an Eagle fan I have to admit I am bothered about the Skins getting a potential legitimate QB, but I'm also excited about the possibility of them Jamarcus-ing their team for the next 5 years.
The only deal in that list that compares is the Walker deal, and obviously that didn't work out for Minnesota, but it sure as hell did for Dallas. If your point is that big deals often fail, sure, they often do. But sometime it works out. Put the Eli deal in your list and you have five trades, with one of them netting 2 rings. That's a one in five shot of getting wild success.
If RGIII wins even one Super Bowl for the skins, the deal will have been worth it. I get that you want to shtein all over it, but I'm not convinced it's an idiotic move.
In seven years when they cut him loose you can point and laugh at me for holding my fire in the early days.
So it worked out for the team that got the shteinload of picks but not for the team that gave them up.
You've convinced me. I'm wrong.
And I don't think it's idiotic by any stretch of the imagination. I think RG III is going to be a phenomenal player. All I'm saying is giving up that sort of bounty is the sort of move that has catastrophe written all over it.
Well it's either a catastrophe, or an all-time triumph.
We'll see.
Either way, the f'n Eagles still don't have a Lombardi. Not even one.

I actually agree with this. If you go back to the 98 draft, the Chargers swapped 1st round picks with Arizona and gave them a 2nd rounder in 98 and 1st rounder in 99 (which turned out to be a high pick for the Cards because Leaf and the Chargers were terrible in 98). Oh, and they also gave up Eric Metcalf who was the best return specialist in the game. And the Chargers gave all of that up so they could move 1 spot from #3 to #2 in the draft. So yeah, the trade itself to move up 4 spots in the draft to get a talent like RGIII isn't a horrible decision. I just hate the fact that the Skins are getting a player that I want to root for in the league.
I wish the Skins would sign Manning to a 3 or 4 yr deal so that they might be inclined to pass on RGIII but I know that's not going to happen.
The skins gave up a lot, but if the kid is a legit franchise QB it won't matter in the long run. I would be happy if I was a Skins fan right now.
the thing is that the taterskins are incompetent, that by them targeting RGIII it proves to me he will be awful. i look forward to him being Akili Smith
It is also funny that one of the few areas that they haven't been incompetent recently is in their high draft picks, when they've actually had them.

again its not about this year....remember the first couple years of mcnabb before we realized he was a bedwetting douche...nothing can replace that feeling of hope in sports....that feeling of euphoria that one of your teams might just have a guy that can lead you to championships in the future...one of my greatest memories was being in fed ex field when mcnabb led that drive where he ankled mark carrier to take the lead against the taterskins...remember going nuts hugging everyone around me and thinking holy shtein this is the guy...you cant put a price on what a franchise quarterback can bring you...sure rgiii could also flop but is there a guarantee that the number one picks the next two years will lead them anywhere?
i mean on one hand everyone wants to say the taterskins cant build a team to win....then on the other hand you dont want them giving up a couple picks because they need them to build a team...cant have it both ways

I really like Griffin. I really hate the taterskins. I hate the fact that he is going to be on that team because I cannot root for him now.
I wonder what the douchebags over at ES have to say about this?
I do believe they gave up too much. Regardless of who they sign in FA a team needs draft picks and Snyder treats them as if they're aids infected needles.
Griffin will be coached by a guy who sucks at developing QBs and his OC son who cannot coordinate an offense.

NFL is taking away millions of dolllar of salary-cap space from Cowboys and taterskins for how they front-loaded deals during uncapped year.
Ouch.
QuoteAdam Schefter @AdamSchefter Reply Retweet Favorite · Open
Cowboys lose $10 million in cap space, taterskins lose $36 million in space. Can split it over 2012 and 2013 any way they want. More at ESPN.
This is too good to be true. While I still don't think that the trade itself for RGIII was a good trade, it's not looking as good for the Skins now that they may be losing $36 mil over the next 2 years.
Action News is taking you live to the streets of DC where this garbage man and taterskins fan learned of the NFL ruling to take $36mil in cap space away from the Washington taterskins.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0ei3H-ybfM
What is the cap at this year, anyway? 800 million?
Quotethats because they now have a real live gm who has put together a competant football operation...
Ummm................ yeah.
Pointing, laughing, etc.
the funniest part of this is not the penalty because they will find ways to still spend money...its the fact that the eagles and most other teams in the league gained 1.6 mil in cap space becuse of what the skins and cowboys did
This is so awesome. The one glimmer of hope Skins fans had was "we might not have picks, but we have a shtein ton of cap space, Vincent Jackson will be a Skin day one of free agency...book it!" [cue price is right loser horn].
farging joke of a franchise.
Clayton was saying they will still probably sign Vincent Jackson.
$36M is a helluva hit though
yeah this has little bearing on who they can or cant sign...and doesnt affect them getting vincent jackson at all
it will probably hurt their depth and they may have to cut a few more players than they normally would but this sounds like a lot bigger deal than it is...the cap in the nfl is and always has been a joke
Considering they usually have to slash players left and right because of their ineptitude that's quite a bold statement, IGY.
they dont have to cut anyone....even with the nfl penalty handed down they are still 13 million under the cap...they are cutting elders who arent what they once were....these are moves unrelated to what the nfl handed down yesterday
either way skins arent winning the superbowl this or next year....they are getting what they hope is their franchise qb and looking at making the first of many superbowl runs probably starting in 2015

RGIII with an adequate OL instantly legitimizes the skins, just like Donovan did for the Eagles in 1999.

Quotetaterskins remove 4,000 seats from FedEx Field

2011 NFL Draft Getty Images
taterskins home attendance has declined with the team's winning percentage in recent years, and as demand for tickets decreases, the taterskins are also decreasing the supply of seats.
The Washington Post reports that the taterskins are again reducing the size of FedEx Field, with the removal of 4,000 additional seats.
The team says the reduction of seats will make room for an upper level "party deck" and the renovation of the fifth-floor suite areas, which will give fans a better experience at the stadium.
But there will be fewer fans experiencing taterskins home games. In 2010 the capacity at FedEx Field was 91,000, in 2011 it was 83,000 and this season it will be 79,000.
There was a time when there was virtually no limit to the number of tickets the taterskins could sell, but that time is in the past. The taterskins have yet to make the playoffs in the four seasons since Joe Gibbs left, and they missed the playoffs in 10 of the 11 seasons since between the two Gibbs coaching tenures. That kind of losing frustrates even the most enthusiastic of fan bases.

taterskins socks were hung by the chimney with love,
In hopes they'd fit St. Robert's feet like a glove.
The Shanahans were nestled, all snug in their beds,
with nightmares of interceptions (Rex) still dancing in their heads.
And though still irked by a reduction of their cap,
Papa Shanny and Young Kyle settled for a late spring nap.
When out on the field there arose such a clatter,
They sprang from the locker room to see what was the matter.
Away to the sidelines they flew in great haste,
They readied their playbooks with no time to waste.
The moon on the breast of the field freshly green,
Gave lustre of mid-day to the assembling team.
When, what to their wondering eyes should appear,
But a young Baylor quarterback, rocking full taterskins gear.
That young draft prospect, so much talent and speed,
They knew with no doubt, this must be RG3.
More imposing than the Iggles, the defense it came,
To his teammates he whistled, and called them by name.
On Monty, on Lichty, oh this O-line needs fixin',
Just don't let me down, cuz' that safety is blitzin'!
Oh form a strong line, create a great wall,
Now block away! block away! block away all!
Dressed in Burgundy and Gold, from his head to his butt,
With his jersey slightly tarnished from the grass and the mud.
A 300-pound tackle, nearly draped on his back,
But with nimble footwork, he eluded the sack.
And with an arm that could easily reach the club deck,
Is it even a fair contest for Grossman and Beck?
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his mission,
To lead the taterskins back to playoff position.
With his bracelets and sleeve, he was quite a sight,
A party on the left arm, but all business on the right.
He sprang from the huddle, after giving the play call,
And down the field they flew, with the snap of the ball.
But fans heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
HAIL TO THE taterskinS, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!
MERRY GRIFFMAS EVERYBODY!
I really hope who ever wrote that dies a painful death.
The fans are going to be insufferable. I hope this kid flops like Ryan Leaf.

WHY?
Week 3 QB controversy
This is beautiful.
They, as Mel just said, do not have the luxury to take another QB. They have limited picks and holes all over the place and they take another QB.
They project Griffin as a Wide Receiver.

So a team that constantly finishes at the bottom of the division, has numerous holes to fill, once again enters the draft will little to no premium draft picks, does not have a #1 pick until the 2015 draft grabs a QB in the 4th round because perhaps they can flip him down the line?

shtein people on this board were defending foles right after it happened because he would bring back picks in a few years

QuoteThe Washington taterskins introduced new quarterback Kirk Cousins at a packed press conference today, describing the 4th Round pick as a great fit for the organization.
"This is a team in flux," said taterskins head coach Mike Shanahan. "Way back on Thursday we had Robert Griffin III. And while that was an exciting time full of potential, football is about more than headlines and fun. I think our fans will look back fondly at those 40 hours, but as an organization it's time we past all the hoopla and into a new era. We feel Kirk Cousins provides the steadiness that we are looking for as a team right now."
Cousins says he is excited to take the reins of the taterskins, but admitted it is a tough situation.
"I won't say it's going to be easy to come in here right away and fill RGIII's shoes," said the former Michigan State signal caller. "The guy accomplished about as much as a quarterback can in an evening, a full day and then the next morning. But my time is now — at least until the taterskins sign or trade for a quarterback, which they will probably do later this week."
cousins also said today he didnt talk to the skins at all and was shocked they took him....said he thought he was going to the broncos or eagles
He must be mad that the two goofiest QBs were picked by the Broncos and Eagles.

QuoteBayless: White fans will root for white QB
5:52 PM, August 20, 2012 |
USA Today
By Scott Gleeson, USA TODAY
ESPN analyst Skip Bayless might have outdone himself in the saying-stupid-things-that-could-get-him-in-trouble department.
When discussing the Washington taterskins' quarterback competition between No. 2 draft pick Robert Griffin III and fellow rookie Kirk Cousins on ESPN's First Take Monday morning, Bayless sounded off with this rant:
"Some foolish taterskins fans-aafans, foolish, doesn't that go together, right?-aathey're gonna sit back and say, 'God, RGIII was struggling. He fumbled, he threw a couple of bad passes. Maybe Kirk Cousins is better right now. Maybe we should go with Kirk.' NO! I don't want to see that. I don't want to set up that dynamic."
"I'm going to throw it out there. You also have the black/white dynamic and the majority of taterskins fans are white and it's just human nature if you're white to root for the white guy. It just happens in sports. Just like the black community will root for the black quarterback."
Um, racist comment alert.
The reaction on Twitter:
"@jasonwoodmansee: This may be the dumbest thing Skip Bayless has said, which is saying something."
"@celebrityhottub: Today has seen Skip Bayless discussing race relations and Darren Rovell on gender issues so it's ok if you don't bother leaving the house."
"@ArnoldcommaJon: After all these years of intelligent, well-thought comments, I'm flabbergasted Skip Bayless said something dumb about race."
"@grosenstein: Skip Bayless is right. As a white taterskins fan, I'd much rather see Rex Grossman and Kirk Cousins start over RGIII. #puke"
Bayless was originally angry when the taterskins drafted Cousins in the fourth round and continued with his fury on Monday.
"I'm for the black guy," he said. "I'm just saying I don't like the dynamic for RGIII. It could stunt his growth in the NFL."
With Griffin III, the taterskins' quarterback of the future, struggling in Washington's 33-31 preseason loss to the Chicago Bears on Saturday, Cousins stepped in and completed 18 of 23 passes to finish with 264 yards and three touchdowns. Griffin finished a mere 5 of 8 for 49 yards without a touchdown or interception in six series. Starters were out for both teams when Cousins played, though.
On Monday, Cousins denied there being any quarterback controversy brewing.
"I think that this is Robert's team," Cousins told reporters. "This is Robert's opportunity. The coaches have made that very clear. It's my job to do the best I can in my situation and in my opportunities. And that's what I'm trying to do."
Nuke everyone.

The Raiders definitely don't have a black fan base.
The taterskins might have the most black fans but if so, it's not by a lot. The NYC metro area alone has nearly double the number of blacks of DC and the whole state of Virginia combined, and they mostly go for the Giants. Obviously there are Skins fans in Maryland and NC also, but the Giants have fans outside the immediate NYC area too. The Cowboys have already been mentioned, and I suspect they are the real #1 in terms of black fans due to the outside-Dallas bandwagon building on an already sizable black population.
Basd purely on demographics, the Falcons should crush this category, but no one cares about them.
The taterskins definitely lead the league in the number of black fans defending a terrible white Republican owner, though.
theres more black taterskin fans in pg county than the whole ny metro area...blacks in ny dont care much about football...its mostly dirty italians....the blacks are all knicks all the time
Still, Cowboys and Raiders... Come on.
raiders lol....did you just watch the ice cube 30 for 30 jawn?
there may be more cowboy fans in the country but their "fanbase" does not have nearly the number of blacks as the skins...im not counting some dood in tampa who is black and happens to be a cowboy "fan"
can we at least all agree that the raiders lead the world in trashy and/or ex-con fans?
yes.....their fan base is basically made up of motorcycle gangs with a sprinkling of cholos
I'd argue that the Steelers (and all Pittsburgh teams) have the trashiest fans.
Also, only an ignorant sheltered jewish princess like MDS would confuse/equate ex-cons with trashy.
i never said all ex cons all trashy...but they can be. hence the and/or.
either way if you are a munson-like pos or youve been locked up for 10 years for robbing a 7-eleven theres a decent chance you are a raiders fan

Pretty sure the Cowboys hold that honor followed by the Saints.
The falcons and saints are the obvious teams here based on % of fan base but mostly who gives a shtein.
nawlins has massive dallas support even though the saints are obviously huge there
falcons have no support whatsoever from anybody. no one is lives in atlanta proper and no one is actually from there, its all transplants.
for the 10000th time real fans its dc, total "fans" its dallas
a good question is what team has the most real fans. my guess is the bears. ny is split and then you have the transplant/bandwagon factor.
most real fans is the steelers and its not close....unless by real you mean living in or from pittsburgh....because steeler fans not affiliated with pittsburgh are for the most part true fans...unlike say dallas or the raiders....id say green bay is second and then probably the bears
true means they have to be from the city/area, they cant be from kentucky and like the steelers because they won in the 70s
A Steelers fan in Kentucky is probably closer geographically than a Cowboys fan in Texas but not Dallas.
Quote from: MDS on August 22, 2012, 12:22:50 PM

i mean if your pops is from ny and you live in wichita and you like the giants that counts
what im discounting is people from maine who like the packers because in the 60s they watch bart starr win a few titles. then they passed it on to their kids and before you know it you have 3 generations of packers fans all because 1 dude is a front runner.
i have no problem with a fan from somewhere other than the area where their team plays but you have to be a lifer
if the guy in your example was a kid and because the packers were good during his formative years he likes them at now age 60 then i cant really argue that....he was a product of horrible parenting but i wouldnt automatically says hes a horrible fan
but if you are a 22 year old from iowa and start rooting for the patriots because of tom brady you should be shot
but if that 22 year old is now 70 and still rooting for the pats is ok?
the 22 year old wont be a patriots fan at 70 or if he is its coincidence
hes going to switch multiple times thruout his life because hes a litle bitch and thats how little bitches do
so basically in your mind bandwagoners who jump on the bandwagon and stick = fine
bandwagoners who jump from bandwagon to bandwagon = aids
your reading issues are cropping up again....i said if you are a kid and you grab a team and roll with it the rest of your life you are clearly a real fan...kids dont jump on bandwagons...they dont even know what that means...
its a reflection of the parents that they didnt do enough to steer their kid in the right direction....hate the man not the child

Quote
Joshua Morgan unfazed by threats
ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington taterskins receiver Joshua Morgan felt the full downside of the social media age this week, receiving death threats and other venomous messages on Twitter because of his fourth-quarter blunder in the loss to the St. Louis Rams.
Morgan talked Wednesday about the nastiness he's heard from fans since his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for throwing the ball at Cortland Finnegan. The penalty cost the taterskins valuable field position during the team's final drive in Sunday's 31-28 defeat.
"I heard everything, especially when they get you on Twitter and are sending you death threats and wishing you bad things and your firstborn," Morgan said. "You see it all, you hear it all. You never let it get to you, especially with me being from D.C. They treated me kind of like they did (San Francisco 49ers return man) Kyle Williams last year when he dropped a punt against the Giants."
Morgan said the threats are keeping him focused. He said he wasn't tempted to discontinue his Twitter account.
"The only thing I take seriously is football and my family, and nothing really scares me," he said.
Morgan said he's been fined over the penalty but doesn't yet know the amount. He also said he wouldn't be throwing such a tantrum again. After all, raising the ire of fans is one thing, but getting a cold stare from the coaching staff is something else.
"Especially with coach Mike Shanahan," he said, "none of us are dumb enough to make the same mistake twice."
Blasphemy! taterskin fans are not such animals! Only big bad Eagle fans do that shtein!

i love how he says "who am i to talk" right in the middle of talking endlessly about it
A lot of that reminds me of Donnie Mac. Trying too hard to master the English language:
QuoteSome of the shots were cheap of that nature.
He's actually way worse than McNabb at this stage. Donnie got cornier as he got older, this dude is like 8 years in the league McNabb.
QuoteI don't want to tip-toe the lines of anything that's happened with bounties or anything like that, but they were definitely going after me. They made it a point, obviously, all week to hit me.
You're the farging quarterback dipshtein...of course they're going after you.
All this bounty banter is bullshtein. Unless the coaches are paying, or in some way incentivizing, the players to farg some shtein up, it's not a bounty...it's called playing defense. farging Hoydas

Never race black people no matter how unathletic they might appear. You should have challenged him to a game of darts or Parcheesi instead.
Matty is Irish black though, so he had better than a white man's chance at winning.
If he's Irish then he'd have crushed him at darts.

wes welker who game relies on sharp cuts and starting and stopping was playing preseason games after tearing his mcl and acl....that said i think rg3 wont start the season because hes a franchise qb and you are going to be ultra safe...as good as ad is hes still a rb and welker is a slot wr...you can take some risk with those guys...not rg3....then again the taterskins were exactly cautious with him the last month...also rg3 has lcl/mcl which is worse than acl/mcl that ad and welker had
the irony here is that another team in the same city just six months ago sat down their young phenom for a stretch run and the playoffs in order to save him

QuoteHis knee will be alright. He was walking around after the game. We have Dr. James Andrews. The same guy that just brought Adrian Peterson's career back to life. But hey, glad Shannahan drafted Captain Kirk. He can get it done when needed.
from a Redksins fan to me today
thats a pretty reasonable statement for a Skins fan.
on the surface that seems reasonable....but at its core is classic taterskin homersim....skins fans are always like seven notches ahead of any other fans on the homer scale
if the situation is completely dire...like say the future of the franchise qb who was going to win you multiple superbowls and who gave up a bunch of draft picks for is in question....eagles fans would be like a negative 1 right now...eagles are cursed....told you so.....they will never win another title again...walt whitman here i come
where as taterskin fans are like a six/seven right now....hes gonna be fine...he has great genetics...andrews was the guy who rebuilt steve austin...coaching angel will heal him
on the flip side if everything is rosie with the skins to the point where most fans would be a 7...just won the divison...have won seven in a row...then the skin fans are like a 13....no one can stop us...i dont see how we dont at least make the superbowl...this is the start of a dynasty...we even have the best surgeon in the world on our team...the coaching angel is guiding us from above

Sick athlete, incredible work ethic and this is THE Dr. James Andrews here, not some meatball surgeon. He'll be 100%
cause lots of pro athletes...especially superstars.....get their knees fixed in a back alley in camden by the doctor from cannonball run

The RG3urrection has begun. T-Minus 8 months until Robert returns to make those who celebrated his injury pay dearly. taterskins 2013 NFC #1 seed.
The shtein on that board is priceless. I hope to see a poem any day now.
taterskins are blackish
taterskins are also whitish
I'm bad at haikus
You know how you could relieve yourself of the annoying taterskins fans? How about not going to a forum entitled "ExtremeSkins".
My God, how nerdy are some of you?

FTMFW
They're the worst people on Earth but they're also hilarious.
Their stupidly and overt homerism amuses me.
This is all Cutler's fault

Cutler came out of the game like a Hoyda and got obliterated for it. That screen shot makes it laughable, but it absolutely makes sense in the "tough guy" NFL.

This has been bugging me lately. There are two versions of the RGII icon with the handicap/wheelchair icon in place of the "G." The first one I saw was just that but the second had cornrows on the figure in the chair.
I just want to say, that's some farged up racist shtein.
The one is funny, the other galling.
Just wait until you see the third one, an animated gif with spinners.
I just googled rgiii and chose images to try to find that pic dio mentions, and google suggests rgiii's girlfriend. I clicked on that. She's not bad in a mammary kind of way.

Why are braids racist? That motherfarger has braids.
I don't know, maybe it's not racist. It feels icky. I guess because it's an unnecessary embellishment to the gag which calls attention to his race.
A bucket of KFC in his lap would be racist.
The other is just tasteless. And funny as farg.

They are his most prominent physical feature. Unless you think that him being black is his most prominent physical feature.
You racist.
The gimmick needs no indication of the man himself beyond the great big R, the wheelchair that looks like a G and the III afterward
Calling attention to his braids is gratuitous at best.
ha!

borderline racist

Still the least racist thing associated with the taterskins.
I'm going to wait until IGY weighs in on this topic to decide if it's truly racist.
the picture itself isnt racist but the person who added in the hair could have and probably did do it because hes racist
exactly
what would I do without you?
youre welcome
why's the guy in the wheel chair gotta be black?

I think it just calls attention to his hair.
