i mean if your pops is from ny and you live in wichita and you like the giants that counts

what im discounting is people from maine who like the packers because in the 60s they watch bart starr win a few titles. then they passed it on to their kids and before you know it you have 3 generations of packers fans all because 1 dude is a front runner.

i have no problem with a fan from somewhere other than the area where their team plays but you have to be a lifer

if the guy in your example was a kid and because the packers were good during his formative years he likes them at now age 60 then i cant really argue that....he was a product of horrible parenting but i wouldnt automatically says hes a horrible fan
