A white guard with a pedo smile? I'm sure he'd have been a welcome addition to the team.

This is beautiful.

They, as Mel just said, do not have the luxury to take another QB. They have limited picks and holes all over the place and they take another QB.

They project Griffin as a Wide Receiver.

Cousins questions at RG3's press conference...awesome

So a team that constantly finishes at the bottom of the division, has numerous holes to fill, once again enters the draft will little to no premium draft picks, does not have a #1 pick until the 2015 draft  grabs a QB in the 4th round because perhaps they can flip him down the line?

Danny may you live to be 101.

What's even better is reading ES and their ultra homers defending the move by citing what Reid's done with Feeley and Kolb and ATL with Schaub.

that absolutely fair and the only reason to defend it

shtein people on this board were defending foles right after it happened because he would bring back picks in a few years

but what people overlook is that you could have and should have someone else at that spot that could help you this year

at least with the eagles they have far fewer pressing needs than the skins do

Especially given Shanny's stellar track record of developing QB's.

QuoteThe Washington taterskins introduced new quarterback Kirk Cousins at a packed press conference today, describing the 4th Round pick as a great fit for the organization.
"This is a team in flux," said taterskins head coach Mike Shanahan. "Way back on Thursday we had Robert Griffin III. And while that was an exciting time full of potential, football is about more than headlines and fun. I think our fans will look back fondly at those 40 hours, but as an organization it's time we past all the hoopla and into a new era. We feel Kirk Cousins provides the steadiness that we are looking for as a team right now."

Cousins says he is excited to take the reins of the taterskins, but admitted it is a tough situation.

"I won't say it's going to be easy to come in here right away and fill RGIII's shoes," said the former Michigan State signal caller. "The guy accomplished about as much as a quarterback can in an evening, a full day and then the next morning. But my time is now — at least until the taterskins sign or trade for a quarterback, which they will probably do later this week."
