He's the anti-Hinkie. I believe that he's going to be the classic NBA exec where he signs guys to bad deals and makes stupid trades to be in that 5-8 seed range.

not sure I would've used the term, "classic" to describe a bad GM.

What's the difference between him and Ish other than the extra nine million they're paying this guy?

Or is it just because he's one of Bry's guys?

Either way it's fine because he's a bridge guy who won't make them much better.

I like the signing. Small upgrade. Given Bayless' style and strengths it seems they are setting up Simmons to run the offense as a point forward.
