Is luwawu planning on playing this year

his buyout is something way cheap like 600K so I would say yes.

furkan on the other hand is 2M or so, if i had to guess he may not be here for a year or two.

Luwawu doesn't see his buyout being a problem at all. Plan is to play in Philadelphia. Hopes to play in Summer League. #sixers

the sixers are still a glorified college team, so what the farg
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Dion Waiters and Harrison Barnes are targets eh?

Of course they are.

sorry they didnt get that meeting with durant only you thought theyd get

they have a 4-5 year period here where they have a giant pile of money to burn before any of the young guys need to get paid. gotta spend it somehow.

plus they are sending a message to the league and fan base that the tank is over....no harrison barnes isnt worth the max but the money they have is just silly.

Oh so just waste money on players not deserving of it just because?

No.

The Colangelo Effect is in full bloom...

QB Eagles

Sixers looking at Allen Crabbe, who makes more sense than Waiters or Barnes. Too much sense for them to land him, probably.

New Hinkie piece in ESPN mag: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/16597961/sam-hinkie-just-win-tale-process-ultimate-fall

Saric told reporters he gave the Sixers his word he'd come to the NBA next season so he's coming

Is this a thing?

I'm honestly curious why people hate this guy so much. He has literally done nothing yet. He sat still, got the best player in the draft and arguable two of the best players still left at 24 and 26.

PhillyPhreak54

He's the anti-Hinkie. I believe that he's going to be the classic NBA exec where he signs guys to bad deals and makes stupid trades to be in that 5-8 seed range.

He tried to trade too much to Boston...thank god they said no.

He refuted that trade rumor. Let's wait till the guy makes some moves before we start crucifying him.

that doesnt even make any sense....they will live and die on how simmons, saric, embiid and the 17/18 draft picks pan out, not any FA signing. their next most important decision will come in the draft when hopefully they have 2 top 10 picks.

i dont want barnes anymore than the next guy but throwing money at him isnt going to matter. same for waters. in 5-6 years if the sixers are established as a contender and destination, then who they sign and who they give money to will become very important.

And who put them in position to succeed with those players?
