Rome

Phillips was a horrible person but I agree that the prison system in this country is abysmal and getting worse.

Sgt PSN

I think it was either OTL or E:60 that did a pretty nice piece on Phillips a few months ago. He's easily one of the most talented athletes who never came close to reaching their full potential because of shtein for brains.

whatever you think about the guy these letters are really sad...prison industrial complex ftl

I'll save my normal rant about prisons but yeah...shtein ain't right. No rehab goes on. For profit only and punitive to the point of insanity.

ice grillin you

he was the prime candidate for rehab too cause he had serious mental problems....he should have been locked up but he shouldnt have been in a savage place like that

And after reading that it pisses me off even more.

Simple things that can be done for those guys most of those little dick napoleon officers don't do it. You don't farg with those guys (now there are some who legit deserve to be punished but I am talking about petty bullshtein). Get the guys their damn mail.

We used to have rules where an inamet can only have x-amount of correspondence in their cells. I don't remember how many letters they were able to keep but some guys would go in there and throw dudes letters away to get them down to the max limit. Now I agree they shouldn't have every letter over a 20yr period but if they need to have them reduced you tell the inmate and let him pick which ones he discards.

So yeah...farg the prison systems.

cleveland (51 yrs) detroit (58 yrs) and philly (55 years)....all great blue collar football towns are in the ultimate race to see who can break a championship drought

Buffalo and Minny have to be thrown in there too. Football towns, and arguably both have individually experienced more NFL gut shots than the other three combined.

it would be an insult to put those two towns on the same level as legends like cleveland detroit and philly...philly and detroit are 1-2 in american sports cities and cleveland is an all time great football town and a really good sports city

minny isnt awful but they are as vanilla as it gets and buffalo is a podunk village that has two teams and their fandom of the bills is so incredbily overrated its not even funny...if buffalo doesnt lose all those superbowls they are jacksonville north...but since that happened they have this rep as some amazing incredible football town...i dont think they are terrible but they are not on a level with cleveland philly or detroit

when they suck there are full upper deck sections that are empty and youll have actual concession stands closed up there cause there isnt enough people to make it worth staffing them all

Apparently Hue Jackson said that the Browns needed to move on from Johnny Football if they wanted to hire him and the Browns were down with that.

This was true in Detroit the years they sucked really bad too. I lived in Ann Arbor at the time and saw it with my own eyes. Your great sports town wasn't going to the games. There's essentially no difference in the attendance patterns of Buffalo and Detroit. The Bills haven't made the playoffs in 16 years and were still between the Giants and Saints at #16 in home attendance % (and ahead of Detroit) this year. [And they don't play in a dome in winter either, they play in a sub-college stadium level shteinhole.] Not even sure that would be true in Philly if they went that long without a playoff appearance, we all saw the empty seats before the Lurie/Reid years.

The Bills are virtually the only thing holding Buffalo together as a community. The city sucks and the team can move to Toronto for all I care, but those poor souls up there do care about that zesty team.

It's funny that someone leaked that out. I guess they are trying to give the Browns faithful something to get excited about.

I think if a coaching candidate came in saying that he sees Johnny Football as the cornerstone of what he wants to do, that would be an immediate disqualifier.

that never happened in detroit...det when they sucked didnt sell out and had some bad attendance just like the eagles but they didnt have parts of the upper deck closed

but thats unimportant...bottom line is buffalo is not close to a level with the legends i mentioned...of course a big part of it is that these clubs have a much longer history....but buffalo is on some minor league shtein...i have no doubt bills fans love the bills but its more like a college love...not a big time pro sports town

One thing the Bills do right, maybe the only thing, is that it's a top 5 tailgate city for sure. The stadium is so brutally bad you might as well just stay in the parking lot.
