yeah I didn't get the Lakers giving up Pau + Bynum for Howard.  With this deal they're pretty loaded.

protected first is whatever
mo harkless is kinda tough
taking on richardson isnt great, but its only six mil for the next three years and hes not a terrible player. though he did farg steve nashs wife so i guess everyone needs to keep they girls away from him.

anyway you still do this deal. lets just hope bynum stays for good.

in the least i will most certainly be getting the package this year now so congrats nba/time warner you get some jew gold

harkless is going to be a bum anyway, who cares. i'd rather they deal him then moultrie to be honest. plus we had that backlog at SF. vuc is a fine backup but now with both hawes and kwame backing up, no need for him.

richardson is kind of a wild card, not sure how he fits but i still like it.

It is exciting, especially since it looked like the Sixers were setting themselves up for 2013/14 and were content with just running a slightly above average squad out on the court again.  I wonder if they had intentions of making a big move like this or if the opportunity just happened to present itself and they jumped on it.

Aron made it sound like they wanted to do something big this offseason but nobody wanted to make a deal. Looked like they were adding depth via one year players and willing to take their chance with free agency next offseason. At worst Bynum comes off the books and there are other free agents out there.

adande seems pretty convinced bynum will re-up here from someone who "knows him well".  meh, we'll see.

if he does, this trade is huge.

Bynum is close to home now, so it would make sense that he'd want to stay.  Question is will the Nets or Knicks make a big play for him, and more importantly, would he prefer NYC/Brooklyn over Philly?
