ice grillin you

i can totally see that thinking i just feel like hes not a guy you want to put all your chips in on..especially when its a good free agent class next summer...

now theres definitely something to be said for him wanting to be in philly so if somehow hes willing to sign that makes a huge difference because theres no guarantee you will get any of these other guys...so a bynum in the hand might be worth more than a paul and ibaka in the bush
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

MDS

like i said before ill take my chances with the 25 year old 7 foot 285 pound dude

you almost have no choice not to. if you dont work oh well you went down swinging.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The more I think about this the more I can't believe it will happen. Why would the Magic accept Gasol over Bynum? That makes no sense, I'm pretty sure there's something brewing but the specifics of the trade are sketchy.

Sgt PSN

Gasol is under contract through 2014, so they'd get a guaranteed 2 years out of him as opposed to 1 year from Bynum so that might play into the Magic wanting Pau over Bynum.  Plus, if they take on Bynum instead, then they are basically trading the best center in the game with maturity issues for the 2nd best center in the game who also has maturity issues.  So maybe they just want to get a really good player for 2 years who won't cause any problems.

Is this the starting 5 then?
Jrue
N. Young
Turner
Thad
Bynum

Absolutely have to do it, while recognizing it could be an absolute disaster if Bynum decides he doesn't like it here and plays like it and just waits for FA.

ESPN reporting deal is close!

Just read the ESPN article, they said a deal could be completed by morning. Guess Orlando wants to sleep on it. I won't believe it until it goes down. Interesting fact I learned about Bynum is he grew up in Plainsboro NJ

rjs246

That definitely does not qualify as interesting.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

We all have our things, some people think swimming 30 laps is interesting. Others of us don't.

If you could see how red my eyes are you'd see how wrong you are.

i thought it was well known that bynum was from outside philly.

but yeah this trade is a no brainer. top 3 team in the east if done.

QuoteSources told Broussard that Philadelphia has not spoken to Bynum or his representatives and has no assurances he will sign a long-term extension with the club.

"The Sixers are willing to take a shot (without Bynum's commitment)," one source said.

Although Bynum signing an extension with the 76ers is not out of the question, according to a source, his stance all summer has been he only will sign an extension with the Lakers.

Bynum, who grew up about an hour away from Philadelphia in Plainsboro, N.J., could sign a three-year, $60 million extension this season or wait to become a free agent after the season and be eligible for a five-year, $102 million deal.

yea i mean its totally worth the risk if its just igy

its not like theyre going anywhere this year and they need to clean out some of their 8000 small forwards
