Outside of a couple plays where they ran wide 9 when they shouldn't have, I didn't see much wrong with the defensive game plan. They have (supposedly) good corners who should be able to man up guys, and they weren't. I don't blame Juan castillo for the fact taht DRC completely gave up and Nnamdi thought it would be good to put his hand on guys 25 yards down the field.

The fake punt was a good call that should have worked. The rushing is the only part I agree with you on. That being said, the passes being called were leaving Vick well protected and getting WR's open....Vick was just missing them on bad throws or not seeing them altogether.

They were sitting in zone way too much last night.  When Roy Williams is making catches with only a linebacker around him... or dropping a 40 yard pass with only a safety near him... the zesty zones have reared their ugly head.

The fake punt wasn't a good call because it didn't work.... if your punter can only throw the ball 4 yards, then it's a terrible call.  Leave your offense on the field and make them get the six yards.  I wouldn't have minded a failed fake punt in the first half when the Eagles were stopped on the 40 yard line... but not when the game is on the line.

Also, I still don't know how those three Eagles all missed cutler when he was laying on the ground.

I love that Henry led his high school to the state championships as a qb. Ha.

That's because the league he was in allowed one hop worm burners and counted them as completed passes.

At worst Anderson would have been tackled inside the 10 with the head start he would have had.

We'll be laughing at this one for many years to come.

That particular play is more infuriating than the botched fake punt.  Cutler's reaction was priceless.  His smirk was like "You've got to be kidding me, how in the farg did I pull that one out of my ass?".  Only time Cutler was on the ground was when he tripped.  Jay Cutler and no sacks?  shtein.

Know what was impressive about Chicago's D last night was the way they disguised zone. The Eagles never try to disguise their zone coverages.

It also seems like Vick is rolling out a lot less.... I'd much rather his little ass be rolling out considering the fact he has trouble seeing over the line... leading to more picks.

assy was not great last night. none of the CBs were.

also, is that the 3rd or 4th game that ended with the ball in maclin's hands. granted it wasn't a perfect throw but great receivers don't lose their balance with the game on the line.

With as high as that pass was I'm more surprised he caught it then that he fell. He wouldn't have made the first anyway, the route was three yards short of the stick with three bears between him and the yard to gain. Was dumb to even throw it to Maclin to begin with.

I'm not reading through this whole thread but here is my list of goats from the game:

1. Third down defense. These fargers couldn't get off the field.
2. DRC. Way to totally quit in the middle of a play and pout like an icehole before the opposing player is even on the ground.
3. DeSean (oh no, I'm totally middle america and hate black people) for dancing backwards like a douche and fumbling right before halftime leading to a Bears TD.
4. Maclin for that awful first half drop and his game-ending 8-yard crossing pattern.
5. Whoever the ref was who called that atrocious roughing the passer on Babin.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Admitting it is the first step.  I'm proud of you.

Next to Steve Smith, there is no player that has been more irritating as far as trying to figure out WTF they're doing on this team.  He's looked dazed and confused from day one.
