I'll take high ceiling players over high floor players any day. If there is anything to be apprehensive about with this deal, it's the 3rd round pick, not Jordan Matthews. Matthews was never going to be anything more than a slot receiver. He simply can't play on the outside. Darby has a chance to be a top level starting CB. Pair him with Sidney Jones who I love and suddenly you could really have something there. You can always find another slot WR next year even if Agholor or Hollins don't work out.

Carson is a good boy who does what good boys are supposed to do.  Nowadays, they are supposed to broadcast their love for each other on social media if someone gets a job transfer.  It's clearly hallmark bullshtein, but the fans eat it up.  For many, the NFL is as much about the melodrama of the players as it is the actual game.  It's really not much different or better than women who obsess over celebrity gossip.  Mindless entertainment for mindless people.

Is it really so difficult to believe that a 23 year old guy who moved to a new area became close friends over 14 months with another super-christian co-worker who he interacted with every day at work and who goes to his church? People go from meeting each other to getting married in less time than that. Dumb people, anyway. I daresay that I believe they actually care about each other.
